It may sound silly to get excited about something as pedestrian as garbage bags, but if you've ever experienced broken or leaky trash bags you know where I'm coming from. These blue see-through bags are the best I've ever used. Finding them is difficult in stores as Home Depot no longer seems to carry them. When I found them on Amazon I almost jumped for joy! Last night I hauled out a bag we had overfilled, stuffed down, and overfilled some more. Without exaggeration I'd estimate it weighed over 90 lbs. The bag didn't leak, didn't rip, and slid out of the kitchen trash bin without a problem. I order them two at a time so I'm never forced to use an inferior bag.

These large blue sacks do the job well. They hold a large load of recyclable goodies. I am impressed by the capacity and strength of the sacks/bags. I end up filling them the bag to the max and utilizing the draw strings to keep the load well confined . Highly recommended!

I had been buying my 'blue bags' for recycling from the local stores and was paying about $6 for five 50 gallon bags. As I was itemizing some reciepts I noticed how much I was spending per month on these bags was nearly $25 on average. That's simply too much for bags, but I did not want (and it was technically fineable) to stop recycling.

The solution was to buy these bags. Not only are they far less expensive than the ones I was buying at the store, but they also have a pull tie system unlike the handled ones I had bought previously. This made me a very happy camper.

While I have no probative evidence of this, I feel as though the recycling men are much happier as well as they can easily toss these bags around and I have yet to find debris littering my driveway as a result.

Perfect for moving house when packing bulky, non-fragile items. Also good if you have a bunch of stuff needing some short term storage while you wait for time to get rid of it (great for hoarders). Strong, easy to see the contents. One star off because it has the problem typical to drawstring bags - the bags are stronger than the strings, and they sometimes snap off when gathering them to tie.

I have been buying 13-gallon blue bags at my local grocery store for years. First of all a box would cost $4 for 8 bags and the bags were the kind that you use the "handles" to tie the bag shut. So let's state the obvious: larger bag with drawsting and cheaper per bag, already a plus, right? These bags are also so much sturdier than the ones that I bought at the grocery store1 I can cram a lot of recyclables into these bags and not worry about tearing. I don't think I'll ever go back to buying blue bags at the grocery store!

The curbside recycling requires blue bags in my area. They are difficult to find so I ordered these. They do the job.

Not being able to count on Home Depot to carry these bags, I decided to check the internet, and low and behold, there they were on Amazon. No more guessing where to find this quality product. As every poster has relayed, these are the highest quality bags on the market, and as long as they are on the market I well buy them. The thick plastic bag and strong, convenient drawstring make this product a slam dunk. I appreciate getting a great product for my money. Wish I could rave about more than a garbage bag though!

These Husky Blue Recycling Bags are the absolute Best. They have more give, does not leak (except when you pour hot liquids)and is stronger in general. We purchased these at Home Depot (they don't sell them so we went to Amazon)which is great--they come to my door. Recommend this product to anyone who has had problems with other bags leaking, tearing, and not durable. These are!

THIS BLUE BAG WORKS FOR TRASH, GARBAGE AND ESPECIALLY FOR ALL RECYCLED PRODUCTS. NOW I DON'T FEEL BAD WHEN I PUT THIS 30 GALLON BLUE BAG IN ALL MY WASTE DISPOSALE CONTAINERS.

After using about every trash bag on the planet, I found

one that is just perfect. Good for the environment but

also sturdy. I also like the color. they are great for

garbage and seperately for the recycle bins.
