Great little screwdriver for the IT dude.,

Hardened steel bits keeps a grip, less likely to strip.
That little red "bob" on the end rotates. Doesn't sound like much, unless you can only get one hand in the cabinet. Apply a little pressure, turn screw with one hand. Brilliant. It's one of the few tools I'd really say, I'd hate to lose. All the bits you normally use in one little package. And it's not some foreign made "looks and feels" like "aluminum foil" brand. It's solid, yet small. Great little screwdriver.

End all mini screwdriver,

I purchased both this HD74501 AND the Torx version 74502 and I have to say I have been thoroughly impressed. Being in IT for over 10 years now I have gone through so many mini screwdriver sets its not even funny. This one is by FAR the best. The Phillips end does not strip away as found with most cheap sets. The design is very comfortable and easy to keep steady. The back palm rest lets you keep pressure while still turning the driver. I use the torx ends for scsi drives, cell phones etc.. I am VERY protective over lending these guys out :]. They are fairly priced at major retailers near you. I just wish they had an hex counterpart to them.

Nice, but the bits are a little large for detail work,

I bought this at my local box store to try to take apart my iphone 3g. Its a very nice mini-screwdriver, with multiple heads made of good solid steel, plus a rotating base that makes it easy to get pressure on a screw.
I'd recommend it for most uses, but not for super-small uses like an iphone. Although the smallest phillips bit in this kit is rated "000", it is at least twice the size of the Wiha #000 X 40mm Phillips Screwdriver, Precision Series, and was too big to work on the iphone screws without stripping them. (The Wiha worked great, however). So if you're looking for a quality small screwdriver, this is nice, but if you're looking for the smallest you can get, you can do better.

I find this the most useful of the multibit precision sets. Plus it is non conductive. Home Depot has them for $5.97, a great deal.

This is a great screwdriver. I bought it from Home Depot for $6. The bits do not erode even on tightening bad screws. I've had it for 2 years and it's still in great shape as if it's new. Highly recommended.

A Few Negatives Outweigh A Lot of Positives,

The tips are strong and cover a wide range of sizes, the compact design is great and sturdy.
I have purchased 4 of these, over about 2 years. And enjoyed them all, until... When you drop it, and the end cap falls off, the spare bits "explode" out of the end of the screwdriver never to be found again. I put the blame on myself the first few times, but since it happened with all 4 I bought I have to say it is a tool problem. if they would add a clip for pocket storage, it would help. Although, dropping it during use will also result in lost bits. Also, no storage spot for the 4th bit will result in it falling out of the tool during storage, unless you take great care about where you store it, like not in a tool bag or pouch. Too bad, they got everything else right, including the price.

I ordered this because i needed a tool to open and work on Laptops! I looked all over the internet and was concerned I had bought something cheap. To my surprise this is no cheap plastic, but some type of hard fiberglass i think. It has helped me do what I need and more. If you need a small screwdriver to work on tinkering this is going to be your main tool hands down. It isn't magnetized like i would have wanted, but i wouldnt trade it for a different one regaurdless. I also believe you can order a magnetizer fairly cheap.
Over all i was impressed and recommend this to anyone who needs a good laptop and electronic tooldriver!
