5.0 out of 5 stars 130BT Review
I purchased my Husqvarna 130BT about two days ago. Assembly took about 10 min and was very intuitive. No special skills or tools needed. The blower even comes with 2 cycle oil in the box so you don't need to purchase any when you buy the blower except to have extra on hand. After mixing the fuel and filling the tank I tried to start it as directed in the manual...

3.0 out of 5 stars Husqvarna 130BT - Under Powered
I have owned the 125Bx for four years. I have never had any difficulties starting the blower. The 125Bx has ALWAYS started on the first, if not the second pull. From day one, it has perform flawlessly - producing a very impressive 170 mph. I thought I would try a backpack blower; afterall, I'm not getting younger.

I purchased the Husqvarna 130BT (145 mph)...

5.0 out of 5 stars 130BT Review, July 5, 2010
I purchased my Husqvarna 130BT about two days ago. Assembly took about 10 min and was very intuitive. No special skills or tools needed. The blower even comes with 2 cycle oil in the box so you don't need to purchase any when you buy the blower except to have extra on hand. After mixing the fuel and filling the tank I tried to start it as directed in the manual. After the blower started on the second pull then stalled within 2 or 3 seconds. I turned the choke off tried again and the blower started on the second pull. Since then I have tried starting it several times and found it starts better with the choke off and usually on the first or second pull. The pull start is easy to pull. The entire backpack unit is very light and I had my garage, driveway, back porch, and even my roof gutters clean in less than an hour. I can't wait for the leaves to drop! This is my first leaf blower so I rally have nothing to compare it to but I can say at this time I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

3.0 out of 5 stars Husqvarna 130BT - Under Powered, August 21, 2011
This review is from: Husqvarna 130BT 29.5cc 2 Stroke 145 MPH Gas Powered Back Pack Blower With Tube Mounted Throttle (Lawn & Patio)

I purchased the Husqvarna 130BT (145 mph). I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the product and also with the ease by which the blower started. The tube sections are a challenge to assemble, however, as the instructions suggest, a little oil goes a long way. The ergonomic fit is spot on. The blower ran exceptionally well. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the amount of air produced. I can pass more air than the 130BT, I attempted to push road grit along the gutter and was challened to do so. I had pushed much more than grit with the 125Bx and had absolutely no problems. By-the-way, good luck finding the optional nozzle.

I returned the 130BT and purchased the 150BT blower. So I spent a lot more money to finally get back into the range of power needed to clear more than simple grit. Although I enjoy yardwork and gardening, I do not want to spend an extraordinary amount of time clearing debris. This is a serious backpack blower that impresses the owner well before you start it up. The same quaity construction and performance expected of a Husqvarna product. Again, I used a little oil to facilitate hose assembly. The 150BT is obviously ~5lbs heavier than the 130BT. The effect is a little more effort swinging the pack on. Once on, the weight distribution and balance is superb. I was suprised to find the 150BT comes with two nozzles. Both nozzles are round, one has a more narrow opening, perhaps that is how the blower can produce the 251mph claimed. Everything I read indicated the 150BT could produce as much as 251mph, however, the box it comes in, states an output of 180mph. My only regret, I should have purchased the 150BT years ago.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Backp[ack blower, November 1, 2010
This review is from: Husqvarna 130BT 29.5cc 2 Stroke 145 MPH Gas Powered Back Pack Blower With Tube Mounted Throttle (Lawn & Patio)
Just Great, I had a 8hp roller type blower for years and it was a pain in the neck. This baby can blow high piles of leaves with ease and starts with one light tug. Light and POWERFUL.

This is a great little blower. Easy to start and not heavy to carry. I'm 6 foot and found the lenght of the tube just fine. Really good on gas as well. If there is one improvement to be made it should come standard with a flat end nozzle - it doesn't that's an optional extra.

I always wanted to buy from this brand as it spells quality construction. Assembly was a breeze (pun intended). For the tall persons the extension may be somewhat short (I am 6'2"). The product does not include a flat nozzle piece with it. You will have to buy it separately for about $10 plus about $11 shipping! I was surprised by the fact that it is not all that powerful. I have had other blowers before, all of them far surpass this one in power. However, it is easy to wear, has a nice look, well built, and is more than properly priced.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Good Leaf Blower, April 21, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Husqvarna 130BT 29.5cc 2 Stroke 145 MPH Gas Powered Back Pack Blower With Tube Mounted Throttle (Lawn & Patio)
I bought this blower on the advice of a local dealer. I would have purchased it from him, but he had none in stock. He praised it as being extremely reliable.

It has plenty of air power. It's a little deceiving, because the motor is not a high-RPM engine, and it runs fairly quiet. But, it pushes the leaves around better than the Echo backpack blower I had before it and is a lot quieter.

My only complaint: it's a little hard to start compared to my Echo; usually takes multiple pulls on the starter rope. That's basically why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. But, I would recommend it to anyone.

As usual Husqvarna comes through again. very quit, will balanced, well built. great price. I have a trimmer by these folks that is now 5 years old and still runs as good as the day I bought it and a chainsaw. Great products.

I purchased this leaf blower to replace my old one. It has plenty of power to move the wet leaves and the large piles that accumulate

here in Chicago. It is lighweight and quiet for the user. I highly recommend it.

Husqvarna always conjured up images of chainsaws for me. This back pack blower is built with that same quality and does a great job blowing the sidewalks clear. I'll bet I could even use it in the winter to clear the snow.
