this item came with the oil cap off and some of the oil spilled all over the machine and it was a mess to clean up, in additon one of the headlights did not work, and no one wanted to service or replace it. The Husqvarna's warranty does not cover it even though it is only two weeks old. Husqvarna told me I would have to go through Amazon and see if they would cover the part. I had to call the Husqvarna's US home office 5 times before anyone would talk about this part that did not work, and then they did not believe me that I purchased this machine.

Ok, I have come to learn that husqavarna is a reliable brand. I own a chainsaw and a blower by them and have never had any issues at all. So, naturally, when I decided to buy a snow-blower for this years snowmageddon in Central Ohio - I opted for a husqavarna. This blower chomped through the snow like noboby's business. I really like the enclosed ature/design of the blower as it makes it look much more like an appliance however - that doesn't affect the use very much apart from keeping snow and moisture outside of the blower.

All in all, I put the oil in as directed, added the gas and that was it. Started right up and this things was awesome. I highly recommend this brand of blower.

Used new Husqvarna Snow Thrower four times this Winter. First three times, it performed perfectly. Last time for season, the work lights quit working at 500 am making clearing driveway quite a challenge. The Snowthrower has electric start and starts and runs perfectly. Chute is plastic but does not freeze up when turning. Snow is thrown about 20 foot and handles four inch snows easily. Gas consumption is conserving and needed refilled about every other time. Being 4 cycle allows for separate gas and oil mixture. Amazon allows for fast shipping and blower was well packaged.

I purchased this at the end of the season. We had one last snowfall. It was 10 inches of heavy wet snow.
This snowblower ate through it with no problems. I can just imagine what it would do to dry powder snow.
I can't wait until next winter to play with it again.
It performed well, it's easy on gas & it's cool looking!
I would highly recommend this snowblower for snow up to a foot.

My brother has a bad back and i thought this would help!! I've never seen or heard him so thrilled w/ a gift! He's still raving about it a week later and has cleared all the sidewalks and driveways in sight. The electric start is terrific. He had one w/o one and complained about how he had to re-start it all the time. And the headlights just make it extra special. it's top grade!!

When I unboxed it I noticed one wheel fell right one. The factory forgot to put on the push nut that keeps the wheel together. It was a $0.60 part at my local hardware store.
It throws snow pretty well, no issues clogging all through last winter.

The lights stopped working on one side. I took the assembly apart and found one harness unplugged. Hopefully that solves the issue. I've added an image showing what I had to plug in and tape up.

For a single stage snow blower I am very impressed. My spouse used this the first time it snowed and it was real wet heavy snow. She loved that she could plug it in to start it instead of having to use the pull start. Very nice machine.
