The 7021RB walk-behind mower is equipped with a blade brake clutch (BBC). This feature allows the operator to temporarily step away from the machine to pick up debris or empty the bag without having to restart the mower every time. By taking your hands off the bail, the blades stop but the engine does not, a simple lever engagement turns the blades back on without an engine restart. Powered by the innovative Honda GCV 160 engine it has more than enough torque to get the job done. Its Auto Return Choke engineering means less opportunity for flooding and easier starting. A 21" deck that is capable of mulching, side discharge, or bagging gives you the versatility to change the mowing technique based on conditions or desires. AutoWalk self-propelled rear wheel drive system is activated by simply squeezing the trigger on the handlebar.

"Bent" in Shipment,

This is not the first time I've purchased large mechanical items and had them shipped by parcel delivery. This is though, the first time I've had a product delivered to me without any sign of damage (the box had no signs of rips, scuffs or tears) where I ended up with damaged goods.
Specifically, the mower deck pan was heavily dented, so much so that it required me to remove the blade and use a rubber mallet to knock the dent out so that the blade could turn under the mower deck. After reassembly of the blade under the deck, I went to extend the handle to the operating position, only to find that BOTH sides on the hinge support welded to the deck were bent and they too required "adjustment" so that the handle could be assembled. Lastly, after completing the the assembly checklist prior to using the mower, I started it up, engaged the drive and nothing happened. Short story, the drive belt had slipped off the pulleys which required me to open the deck from both the top and bottom (removing the blade for the second time)to fix. Total time spent to ready this mower for service; 1 1/2 hours. As a mower, not bad but not great. Likes: - Blade brake (second mower I've owned with one, reason for this purchase) - Wheel adjustment - Nice "Cut"! - Price Dislikes: - Packaging (caused hidden damage found after delivery) - Drive system (looks like a maintenance issue long term) - "Slow" motion, mower doesn't move quickly, even with handle fully depressed - Cheap, This is a 5 year mower (deck) with some 10 year parts Why would they NOT put a handle on the outside of the bag to help customers empty it?? Oh well, you get what you pay for...
