I am so angry! My Husqvarna 924HV arrived missing a part. It's a "Remote Cable Bracket" and it's pictured and mentioned on page 7 of the operator's manual. I've called Husqvarna twice now and they have no knowledge of this part, so they can't help me, at all. They tell me I should put the 265 lb machine in my car and drive it to a dealer or I should complain to Amazon. I am disgusted by Husqvarna's incompetence and complete lack of customer service.

Update: A Husqvarna customer service representative saw this review, contacted me, and mailed me the whole cable assembly. Ironically, I still needed to take it to a dealer as it was too complicated for me to assemble. I'm hoping the product itself will work well. I'll have to wait until it snows to find out.

This snow thrower is a monster. Gets through everything we've put it through. No problem cleaning up the end of the driveway after the road plows have gone by. We use this to do our entire road and then some. The electric start works well and the pull start is much easier then most chainsaws I have had to pull start. The controls take a little getting used to but once you are used to them they become like second nature

A five star rating (nearly); however, I had difficulty getting the engine to run for more than a few seconds.

I finally drained and cleaned the fuel tank which had particles of some sort in the bottom. It runs like a

champ since then, but a little more care in assembly of the engine would have made this an outstanding buy!

After receiving the pallet at my house it was not bad to assemble, started right up, ran with no problem. It includes an engine even rated for cold weather unlike some cheaper ones, has a light which is needed for this kind of work, and the controls are easy to work with. Appears to be a quality machine, at this point i get to the bad side, customer service is well lets say I feel dissapointed. Really just a lack of caring for the consumer.

I WAS ALSO MISSING THE CABLE BRACKET for the chute angle control, after reading the same story, I decided to just use a hose clamp to fasten the cable in place. It is sad to see a company with such a good looking product not really willing to help if there is an issue, their common response is take it to a dealer, only issue is it weighs over 200lbs making it a project to take it anywhere. I say it is a good product yes! You want support when there is an issue? Just make sure there is one in your area.

It is my pleasure to share my thoughts on our recently purchased Huskvarna snow blower--particularly since my son did the dirty deed! This was the Bronx "blizzard" of January 21st, 2012. The set up was painless--he did it in less than an hour. Our "test run" was with a 3" snowfall and it went very well. We need to adjust the reverse, but everything was smooth and our driveway and walks were cleared in less than an hour!

The delivery truck showed up pretty much on time and the guy put the 300 lb. box right in my garage, plus you can't beat free shipping and no tax. The unit was easy to assemble and seems really solid, now I just need some snow to use it on... I'll leave another review when that happens, and if I can remember I'll try to leave another next winter.

Never buy a major purchase on-line unless there is a local dealer/service facility to sercice it. I, too was very interested in this machine, but these reviews changed my mind. When something is not right about a product, especially under warranty,I expect it to be fixed with no hassle, and if not, I want to be able to talk to someone in front of me to tell me why it's not being done. Quality and service have become nearly extinct in this country and we have ourselves to blame for letting it happen. Don't accept shoddy "customer service".

I have a 25 year old Craftsman snowblower that is a tank...all metal and cast iron...it starts first pull, runs a little rough,but throws snow into the next county. I have spent next to nothing on repairs and maintenance. I was thinking of replacing it this winter with a new and improved version. After shopping around I found that a new and improved machine does not exist anywhere. Plastic everywhere, engines made in China...with no throttles, I mean, really garbage. Bottom line: I'm keeping my old Craftsman that has never failed me until it dies...probably in another 25 years. Good luck to you all in your quest to find a decent snowblower and when you get stuck in your driveway, give me a call and I'll clear your driveway free with my machine.
