Product Description

The Husqvarna H348SL 3 bin (9 bushel) bagger has durable, polyester mesh collection bags. Can be used with or without lawn bags. Full bag indicator lets you know when the bag is full. The top is designed for improved air flow, which results in fuller bags. Easy-glide bin with built-in handles makes clipping disposal easier. Collar handle and straps on the bottom of the bag both allow for easy dumping. They also take up less space in your garage when storing your bagger.

We had recently purchased a Husqvarna mower at a good price, but the store wanted far too much for a compatible bagger. Finding this on Amazon at such a great price was fantastic. The unit is very easy to install and the only tool you'll need is a wrench (not included). All you do is swap out two mounting bolts for a reinforced set included in the bag (the directions very clearly indicate where they are), slide the mounting bracket on, and then push in a retaining pin. Once that's on, just lift the catcher itself up to the bracket and slide it on, then attach the tube assembly as directed (no tools required). I have a very bad back and single handedly had the unit mounted and functioning in about 25 minutes, including unpacking and reading the directions.

Once attached, I did a test lap around the yard and everything works perfectly. How quickly it fills will of course vary based on how much you cut, but taking a 2 acre lawn down about an inch nearly filled all three bags, which were really easy to empty thanks to the soft handles on the bottom of each bag. If you need more capacity, this unit will easily accommodate a lot of the larger hard bins available on Amazon or at your local lawn and garden. In the same vein, getting replacement bags or bins should be very easy, though the ones included seem to be quite sturdy.

My only gripe is the fullness indicator, it just doesn't seem to be terribly useful, and still indicates room even when grass is backed up down the tube assembly. Also, after about six full trimmings it appears to be a bit gummed up. Honestly it's just not that big of a deal, but it's a listed selling point so I would be remiss in not pointing out that it wasn't terribly functional in my case. Overall it's a great unit at a pretty decent price.

Buy the Poland Pro at $299 on amazon. It is the exact same bag. I purchased the Poland Pro and it fits perfect on the Husqvarna YTH24K48.

This is the best $379 I ever spent in my entire life. I LOVE this bagger. As someone said, it looks like my yard has been swept. Let's put this into perspective. I'm a 69-year-old female, who has never done much yard work and cannot rake because of hand problems. Also, and this is important for the assembly part, I am 5' 6" and weigh 120 pounds, so not very big. Directions said it might take two people to assemble and the box it came in is big enough to hold two or three of me, but I decided to tackle it anyway and am glad I did as I managed it quite nicely by myself. Slight issue with fitting it onto the bracket because the spacing was off a tiny bit, so I said to myself, what would a good red-blooded American male do if he had this problem. Remembering I'd heard one say if the problem can't be fixed with a hammer, it's an electrical problem, I got the hammer and knocked the steel over a bit and it slid right on. I've used the catcher twice now, this last time with heavy leaves, and it just does a phenomenal job. I did half an acre in less than an hour and it would have taken two days to rake it. I will quit complaining about having to spend the $$$$ for a new mower and a bagger. I am in love with both.

So far satisfied with the product. Two minor issues are with the grass not being evenly transferred amongst the three bags and two, if the grass is slightly wet the chute tends to clog. Again, still a good product and glad I made the selection.

I didn't purchase the grass catcher with the mower, which is a couple of years old now, because I wanted to try leaving the clippings on the lawn. After two years of thatch build-up, though, it was time to bag... The grass catcher is well built, fits the mower perfectly, installation was easy, and it holds a lot of clippings. The bags are easy to remove and replace, and empty easily. The 3-blade system really cuts smoothly and moves enough air to prevent the feed chute from blocking up under normal conditions. If the feed chute plugs up (which can happen if the grass is damp or long), it's easy to remove the top half and clean out the blockage. Best of all, the lawn really looks wonderful after mowing. Also, the extra weight on the rear wheels improves the rig's hill-climbing ability. All in all, a great addition to the mower - wish I'd done it earlier!!!

A couple of nits - the chute's flow indicator can be unclear at times, and the lid on the bagger may not stay open if the mower is pointing uphill. All in all, however, this unit is much easier to use and works better than the grass catcher on my self-propelled mower, which is a pleasant surprise. My expectations have been exceeded!

This is the same product you would get if you purchase it when you bought your tractor from a dealer. It is not strong or sturdy. You must use caution (avoid striking objects; mailbox or birdfeeder posts, side of the house, trees, etc.) as it is made cheap and is flimsy. If taken care of, it will do the job - it collects leaves and grass in the bagger. It does not take long to fill the bags, and you have to check the meter constantly so you don't overflow into and clog the chute. If you want a bagger - this is it as there are no other products available, short of a pull behind gas powered vacuum ($$$).
