We recently purchased the 2007 version of this model. The 2006 has a single cylinder engine and the 2007 has a v-twin. While this meant nothing to me, for my husband, it was an issue. We paid approximately $100 more for the 2007.

This is our first lawn tractor, but we've been looking for a long time. After checking out Craftsman, John Deere, Yardman, and others, we went with the Husky for its overall quality and reviews.

The Husqvarna is solidly built, turns well, has more than enough power to go through large clumps of grass with ease. Lots of built in safety features including a seat sensor that cuts the engine if you lift off your seat while it is moving. Six height settings for the blades give you options for your terrain, and it has headlights so you can mow at night if your neighbors don't mind. Comes with a 2 year warranty.

Tractor runs and cuts good when it will run. I have had tractor in for warranty repair work twice for the same problem. It will drain the battery while its running. Not impressed with Husqvarna's customer support. Tractor has less then 16 hours and I will never buy another Husqvarna lawn care product.

Quality Product, read the other review about the mower with the battery problem, I have had several Husqvarna mowers, we have about 8 acres we mow weekly, some have very steep inclines, the mower is great and very durable. After the abuse we put ours through, the least I can do is write a review of how the machine worked for us. Has plenty of torque to make it up the hills, always reliable.
