I take the time to say it is! I don't review anything.. too lazy.. but THIS is really fantastic. Runs the entire spectrum of emotion & skill... something special is here. SOMETHING VERY SPECIAL.

One of 2005's Best albums. An essential listen that brings to mind Ryan Adams, Jeff Tweedy and the lush production of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot.

I was a bit scared to listen at first because i loved the last record so much. The Hustler, though, is Jeff's finest work to date. I didnt think he could top himself, but he has. It almost sounds like a completely different artist but with Jeff's voice. The title track is haunting me everytime. And Pity is a refreshing new direction.
