I just picked this book up this morning and read it within six hours. I LOVED IT. To say that Kelsi is off the hook is putting it mildly. I have waited for quite sometime to read this book and it was well worth the wait. In the beginning they catch you up with what happened in the first book. From there the sequel begins and it's off the hook. I don't want to give anything away so, I'll just say that I think this is a must read.

A Hustler's Son @ was jammed packed with twists and turns, ups and downs and a ending that will leave you speechless!!

Kelsi, who believed to have found his mothers' bloody heart on Xmas day takes a trip to New York to get revenge who those who he believed was responsible for her murder. BUT while in New York, he meets up with several individuals who have plans of their own. He befriends some and really has those people thinking he is in their corner but he is plotting in a big way how to make it possible that they take their last breath. I applaud T styles for a number of things in this novel...1) her way of giving the reader look backs into A Hustler's Son and briefing us on things that transpired for those of us of read the book some years ago. 2) I loved how she threw characters in there from her other novels... and if you are a T. Styles fan, you know what I am speaking of. I found that to be very creative and maybe we can smell a novel with Kelsi and P----- in the near future.

Kudos T, she did a great job AND YOU didn't let your fans down WITH this ONE!

On Christmas day--Kelsi receives a bloody heart that is believed to be his mothers. So Kelsi goes to the N.Y. seeking revenge on those he believes to be responsible for the death of his mother. Little does he know things are not the way they seem. When Kelsi goes to N.Y. the beast in him seems to come unleashed. He is angry and if provoked violence is sure to follow.

When Kelsi hatches the plan to get as close as he can to the people he believes is responsible. He builds their trust, just waiting for the most opportune time to kill them. Will he be able to carry out the revenge before they catch on to who he is? Or will he die trying?

I gave this book 2 stars for a couple reasons. The story itself moved a little slow for me. There was a part near the end of the book that I had a hard time believing. The biggest thing that irritated this reader was reading the same dramatic scene that quite a few other authors have used. At this point I am sick of reading of characters coming back from the dead. Yes, I understand this is a spoiler but I really had to explain why I gave this 2 stars. Too many street/urban lit authors have used this same thing and its time to get a little more original. On a positive note though-it was orignal how she brought the story back to the reader. She took each chapter from A HUSTLER'S SON and broke it down in a paragraph and by the end you were brought back into part 2. I really appreciated how she did that because it has been a minute since I read the first one and that really brought the story back to me.

I apologize T. but I had to be honest--I just didn't feel this was your best one especially knowing that you started up your own publishing company, I guess I was expecting more, something more original and harder from you! I admire you; your drive and your accomplishments, so keep bringing those hot books from The Cartel Publications. I will continue to support you and your authors!

A real page turner......Note: You must read Hustler's Son first so you can know whats going on....although this book does enough to stand on its own...I read this one in 2 days because I couldn't put it down and I had to sneak around with it at work...definitely worth the time and $$

I waited a while for this story and I was not disappointed. OK a little
because I read it so fast! Janet's past seemed to become more real to
me in this book than in the first.The first book just sort of outlined
her painful upbringing but it carried more weight now. Kelsi felt so real
not some ghetto superhero but a calculating force who may have seemed because of his youth not to be very focused but don't sleep! I loved the way this character allowed his heart to guide him when he needed to, not just some relentless killer. My only complaint is that it wasn't longer.

This was a very good novel. It's amazing the bond that a mother and son shares. This book ia a good example of mother and son having each others back. This book is filled with drama, suspence and the meaning of unconditional love. Once there is bond between two peole nothing can come between it.

OMG! I could not wait to read the second part to this story. I loved A Hustler's Son part 1 when I read it, and knew I HAD to read part 2. A Hustler's Son 2 picks up right where the first one left off. But if you don't remeber the first one, T. Styles gives you a recap of it in the beginning of part 2. I could not put this d@mn book down until the last page was read. FIRE!

This book was a great read! Although it moved just a tad bit slow it was still great! All I got to say is that Kelsi is that dude! He never let anything or anyone clout his judgement as he made his moves. I dont think any real hustler could pull off what he did! He was motivated by revenge while trying to avenge..it was great! And there's nothing like having real true friends who got your back & down for whatever! It was good to see that. Towards, the end of the book is when everything came together & I was like "wow" and then when characters true identity was revealed that was a double "wow" for me. This book was just great. Although, I didnt expect for it to end that way, I'm glad it did. Everybody was happy.

ummm i ordered a book a hustler's son part two.. i didnt get it yet.... i was wondering when do i get it...???

Read this book in no time, couldn't wait for this to come out and hoping for more. This book was a hit and T Styles, girl you did ur thang on this one and the first one for that matter.
