Pebbles was raised in South Carolina with her grandmother up until the age of thirteen when she passed away. At which point she relocated to Newark, New Jersey with her parents whom had major problems. One night her dad came in late and intoxicated, her parents started fighting, when it was finally over her father had shot & killed her mom and himself. She witnessed this tragedy first hand at age fifteen.
The story opens with Pebbles being twenty three years old, struggling and stressed to pay bills. A girlfriend suggest she start making trips for her boyfriend Waleek taking drugs down south. Pebbles is convinced and not only make the trips but learns the game. Waleek is busted and goes to jail. Pebbles then takes over the business and turns her girls Sunshine and Kalida onto it as well. The more money they make the more money they want and the girls hustle down other avenues.
Pebbles follows her dream by pursuing the knowledge of opening up a center for battered women. While at a seminar, what she least expects is to embark upon a love that little girls dream about in a wrapping that wouldn't have been her first preference.
Pebbles learns the hard way, no matter how your life begins, in the long run God blesses us all with the freedom of choice!

Page Turner all the way,

This book had me wanting to know what was going to happen next. I read it in 3 days and enjoyed each and every page. I was surprised with the ending but really loved the story. Just goes to show no matter who or what you are, life can change for the better. Heck I'm looking for a Larry. smile. I loved the way this author kept the story moving. Thanks to my girl Kelly for telling me about the book. GREAT READING!!!!
