5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent water movement
Compact and versatile. Low wattage so does not raise tank temperature. Optional magnet holder (included) eliminates noise against glass tank. Magnets are coated with thin plastic, so no rusting as previous generation product. There are newer models with different GPH and improved pivoting spec. Check your options before you order.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too Big
Too big and bulky for the 14 gallon Bio-cube. The suction cup does not hold well to the wall. The cord just gets in the way. These flaws made it difficult for me to arranging my live rock. I bought the Hydor Koralia Nano 240 Aquarium Circulation Pump, 240 gph. It fits perfectly in my 14 gallon Biocube.

great product, this is my second one attached to the wavemaker in my 28 gallon JBJ nanocube . just the amount of current I was looking for to prevent dead spots in my tank without blowing things around too much. Wish it could have a little smaller/flatter head and larger angle from the nipple, so it can be directed better. Runs quiet, low energy consumption.
Good price , especially without shipping costs attached to it.
Received it promptly and in good shape.

I have a #1 pump rated 400 gph for a 12-gallon tank which grows red gracillaria for my Tangs to eat. I have a #3 pump rated 800 gph in my 90 gallon FOWLR tank and my Tangs love it! The produced current is strong and produces wonderful waves. This pump is easy to install onto acrylic or glass - simply use the heavy duty magnet. Highly recommended to add circulation to your aquarium.

I have two of these powerheads in my 10g nano reef tank and I love them. They are literally silent and provide great water movement. The suction cup with magnet design is wonderful. Highly recommended!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the BioCube 14gal, September 20, 2011

We have a 14gal BioCube and were told we didn't need anything extra in the tank to circulate the water. We started to get really thick growths on the bottom and side of the tank where there obviously wasn't enough water flow. After doing some research I determined this was the best product for the little tank. Its fit perfectly in the 14 gal tank and even looks like it belongs there and is fully adjustable to point in any direction you need it to. It puts out just enough extra flow so that it doesn't disturb the fish or corals. Great buy for small tanks!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Little Powerhead For Biocube 14, March 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hydor Koralia Nano Aquarium Pump, 4.5 Watts (Misc.)
I've had this over two months now and can say this is a great little powerhead perfect for the Biocube 14. It has a strong rubber coated magnetic suction cup that holds very well and is as silent as a mouse. I never notice it running whether unplugged (for feeding and water changes) or while running. It has strong flow but not too over powering that it kicks up sand or is too hard on soft corals. Just enough to keep a nice flow throughout the tank.

The only reason I gave it four stars is that it doesn't always like to stay in the direct I put it. It is able to be directionally adjusted but the design is just a ball in socket style and the tug of the cord and whatever else makes it always shift back to center after a while instead of just to the left like I set it. That really is my only complaint with this powerhead.

This pump provides good current in my 29 gallon tank. I like how the magnet replaces the suction cup to hold the unit in place once installed. Very quiet and easy to install....

I love the design of these pumps. I have purchased many of these for my tanks. This one in paticular could be a little more powerful.
