Used for my reptiles and has met its shatterproof needs. Feels durable and heavy. And warms the water perfectly even if there is constant water movement in the aquarium.

This heater did not work from day one. It almost cooked my fish as it never turned off. Do not buy this junk.

Heater worked for about 2 months, then it simply stayed in the "on" position and before I could notice it had raised the tank 6 degrees! I never could get it to turn off again. Very dissapointed.
