For serious students of petroleum only,
By Rod Michel (British Columbia, Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hydrates of Hydrocarbons (Hardcover)
First I want to say, I cannot believe how expensive this book is! ...Therefore I cannot afford it with my student budget.Other than the expense, a real student of petroleum would be amiss to at least browse through this book as it is illuminating and points quite clearly towards the future of the petroleum industry. In order to understand the equations presented in the book, you will need at least college Calculus and Physics, otherwise the equations are too tough for the average reader to comprehend. The book is chock full of equations, diagrams, charts and most interesting are the actual photos of natural gas hydrates. It is well worth the read, but give yourself a few months, because the information is extremely technical. |
