Perfect for walking the trail and playing in the river.

This is a great water shoe because of the adjustability resistance to smelling bad and ease and quickness that the straps dry to allow minimal chaffing.

Overall, about a hundred dollars for a shoe held on with a ribbon made in China is a little bit much.

This shoe was more comfortable then I could imagine. Not as ideal for the beach, as I would of thought. Most rocks, or sand will get stuck in the toe compartment. It does require time to break in the shoe. At first it is unconfortable, reason why is a strap on the very lower outside of your ankle will cause a blister. After it is broke in that issue is no longer there, and the padding is so strangly confortable to walk on. Just keep in mind not to wear it for long walks at first. My foot is quit skinny, so that might be the only reason why it required breaking in for me. The strap is not designed for skinny feet since the strapping can not be pulled as tight. In any case I am very happy with my purchase, and worth the time to break in. If you don't mind unconfortable at first. Love the shoes though.

Nice water shoes. They rubbed blisters where my toes meet the edge of the rubber so I recommend breaking them in and getting your calluses before you wear them for a heavy duty trek. I hope they can handle the upcoming season.

Love these shoes. Great for running in sand and up mountain streams

I have drilled 4 x 25mm holes with a hole saw in the soles of my shoes. This lets the water and sand out of the shoe and stops it clumping up in the front toe section of the shoe. Also the shoes are much cooler on the sole of the foot with more ventilation.

My second pair of these shoes. The first pair lasted a very long time under extreme use, so I bought another pair. Size is too big as half sizes are not offered.

I use these exclusively for fishing. I get out about 25 days per year. I loved the comfort but both shoes are falling apart where the webbing is connected to the soles. Maybe for a casual sandal they will work but don't buy them for fishing.

These are all they were described and better. My husband thoroughly enjoys wearing these especially as we launch the boat. The launch sites can be a bit slick at times and these have prevented the slip & slide that he experienced at times in regular flip-flop or sandals!

Keen is made in China which is FINE. From a manufacturing standpoint don't get me wrong. Keen representatives can specify exactly how much or how little material and craftsmanship go into a shoe. In this case, the sole is glued together and I am suspect of that, but the main problem is that the shoe is assembled with pretty much a ribbon holding it on your foot. If the belt / ribbon fails, it's an unwearable shoe. The ribbon does not hold your foot well enough (in enough places) to keep your foot from rolling out of the shoe, whether inward or outward depending upon what riverbank you're climbing up. If you want, you can tighten the ribbons very tightly and it will stay on and in perfect position, but you will have a purple foot with criss-crosses on it. LOL.
Overall, about a hundred dollars for a shoe held on with a ribbon made in China is a little bit much. Keen has done a much better job with most of their other shoes. Their Targhees for example are legendary but this design leaves too much to be desired.
I'd return these, but I wore them on two trips (Grand Caymans and then later in the Ocoee) in the misguided hopes that I might break them in, wearing them in disbelief that a pair of Keen's could be such a let down. I gave them to my college age son who can't afford to be picky. Heh heh.

very open, very stable on the foot, and easy to slip on. They don't make them anymore and can't find any in my size, nor can I find anything this this open, but with toe protection.
