I've had this item about a year...and love it! I can reel out 125' of hose all the way to the edge of my property and when I'm done, this hose reel does all the work of retracting all the hose back into the winder. It's never kinked, stopped or failed! Best thing on the market.

When my sister in law told she had bought this I was sure it would be a gadget and not work. Was I wrong. It works perfectly, retracting over 200 feet of hose without any effort and from all angles. If you are like me and your wife hates to rewind the hose and when she does it's all tangled, buy this product immediately! I did and I am enjoying it daily.

The thing I dislike most about yard work is having to put away a heavy garden hose after being hot, wet and tired. This jewel-of-a-product eliminates that back-breaking chore and keeps your hose neat and off the ground. It's easy to install, operate (easy-to-understand instruction booklet), works as advertised and comes with a two year warranty. The reel isn't ugly, but we didn't like the gray color boxey-look in front of the house (it stands approximately 2 1/2 feet tall). We found a nice spot for it beside the house, so it can't be seen from the street. It comes with a 6' connecting hose for the faucet. I needed a bit longer hose for where I wanted to install it. Overall, I am very pleased with this product; I like it!

After reading the reviews I was looking forward to purchasing this. I use 100 feet of 3/8 inch Gilmour Flexogen hose, so I thought that this reel would work since it is advertised to support up to 125 feet of hose. Unfortunately, it does not work well with my hose. The last 10 feet enters the reel very slowly (if at all), and when I take out the hose, it is a struggle to get the first 10 feet out. My wife can't take out the first few feet of hose as it is usually stuck and rubbing inside. I now have to take this reel back to the store.

One of the greatest products I've ever had. I ordered two of these and I asked if they came in any other color than gray. I said that tan would be nice. I was advised that gray was the only color. When they arrived "wallah" they were tan. I'm completely fascinated by them.

I bought this over two years ago and have had good use of it. It rewinds slowly, but I'm not in a hurry. It saves a lot of strain on my back. I live in a climate with frigid winters, so I bring it into the basement for the freezing weather. The only surprise was that if your hose is at a sharp angle to the reel it will slow down and bind. I just drag the hose to be vaguely lined up and it continues fine. I would buy another one for my garden if I could find one. These seem to be rare as hen's teeth now. Pity, I really like it.

Great product for lazy people like me. I hated winding my house. This is so simple that the water does all the work. I would recommend this product to everyone!!!!!

We try it and didn't like it. I guess it works but not well enough
to satisfy our hose winding needs.
