Although this review space should be for the SHAMPOO itself and not the system, I will go ahead and review both here.
First, let me say that my dog HATES having a bath and it has been a real nightmare beginning with taking her to salons (she bit; she went through a screen door and across a 4 lane highway miraculously missing cars!); to having in-home service; to trying to get her in a stall shower in the basement where the walls and I got wetter than she ever did!
Then, I saw the info-mercial for this system and thought why not try it?
As I was able to purchase only the pieces that hooked up to your outdoor garden hose, it cost me next to nothing to try it.
It is nothing short of a miracle. Where she would normally run just seeing me grab 'her' towel and the special restraining leash, she nows run TO the front door for her bath (hot weather helps! LOL)!
The water flow is soothing to her somehow and she holds still just like in the info-mercial. There is plenty of water pressure and flow and the shampoo dispenses perfectly and rinses quickly and, just as it shows on TV, she is done in about 3-5 minutes!
Her breed has very thick, deep, long fur and the shampoo it came with, the Ultra Cleaning, got all the way through it and cleaned it nicely, leaving her clean and smelling good for longer than I expected. Her fur even looks healthier!
This is my third bath using one cartridge and she is a good sized dog, so I'm not sure why others have commented that they only got one usage out of it (?) unless you have a St. Bernard or something, but even then, I'm sure you could at least get a 2nd one.
I'm very happy with it and have just ordered more shampoo cartridges.
Oh, one more thing, I have even OFFERED to wash my sister's dog and a friend of mines two dogs!

Just want to start out saying I almost gave this 4 stars, but I just couldn't - I love the whole system too much. But I do prefer the Ultra Cleaning shampoo that came with the system to the deodorizing one. I think the Ultra Cleaning shampoo deodorizes better :)

There is nothing about this system that I dislike, however. I am happy with this shampoo as well. They ALL beat anything else I have ever tried, hands down, just for the fact that my dog actually gets CLEAN, will stand still for her bath, and I don't get wetter and soapier than she does.

She is a 100 lb. Black Lab/German Shepherd cross and I can get three shampoos out of one cartridge, so I too am not sure why some people are having trouble getting more than one wash out of a cartridge.

These are great if you have a smaller dog. My dog is only 15lbs, and I get 4-5 baths for him out of each cartridge so a box of 3 is like almost a year of baths for our dog. Much less expensive than a visit to our former groomer (who was using Rapid Bath). The formula leaves him soft, and smelling pretty dog-gone good and as a bonus, keeps his sensitive skin from drying out. Over the years, we've tried many bath products for our dog. We're staying with Rapid Bath Oatmeal. If only they could invent something like this for kids...

I purchased the rapid bath device and all the cartridges are good. When I shampoo my guy everyone who pets him states he is so soft. Don't know if it is the shampoo or his fur but we do like this product. It makes bath time a little easier as he really is NOT fond of his bath.

Worked like a charm. My dog is so lovely and clean now that i have the hydrosurge. Quick and easy to use. I'd recommend it to all dog lovers. Can't live without it.

The shampoo that mix with water and comes out the shower head seems pretty soft. My shower gives out a very well water pressure that it soaps up my dog very well. In 5 minutes, it seems my Golden Retriever is all soap up and rise up. A clean pup! Although it may not get the paws spray clean, but you can soak up the paws and rise it with the streaming water. I got a good deal thru Amazon with the HydroSurge rapidbath system and 3/pack cartridges from Entirely Pets, which every shower my dog gets only cost me about $2 plus the water. Alot less than going to grooming services.

I have 2 large dogs. I used to bathe them in the tub or take them to (Pet Store) but those days are over.

I never saw the infomercial but I saw these at WalMart and went back later to buy it. I'm buying the refills here but I've only used half of the one that came with the system on 200 combined pounds of canine! They smelled as good as they did from (Pet Store) and it only cost me half as much as 1 visit to (Pet Store). I think I just got a stimulus...

Very good on my soft coated wheaten's delicate skin. He has a tendency toward allergies and does well with this shampoo. I love the Rapid Bath system in general...........see my comments under the unit itself.

I tried this product hoping it would be similar to the high pressure hoses at the diy dog bathing places. There was very little pressure. It did not work like the product video showed. There was not enough pressure to go to the skin. I hooked it up directly to my outdoor hose. The system actually cut the pressure down from what the hose would have without the system. Since I had tried it, I was not able to return the system.
