I have this pump running 8 small air stones... on a small aquaculture project. 4 stones are 4 feet deep the other four are about 2 feet deep. It just about powers these and i could probably add one or two more. This should give you an idea of what you can do with it. It is terribly noisy btw. best for commercial applications.. or keeping it in the garage and sending the air hoses indoors.

I had a lesser model for my air assist on my laser cutter, it died. I wanted more volume so I bought this puppy. This thing kicks butt as far as air volume. I am now able to cut faster and through thicker material with air assist from this pump. I tried an air brush compressor for the same price and this thing puts out at least twice as much! I returned the compressor.

It is a little loud for you hydroponics guys, but if you need air flow, this is the puppy for you!
