I bought a couple of these and they work fine but they are completely unnecessary... Just go to the hardware store and pickup a 150 watt (equiv) CFL... Using incandescent lights for growing plants is just a waste.

If you need something to get some seedlings started, this does work. It definitely doesn't work as well as some of the more expensive lights and it doesn't do much at all for the larger starts but, it will at least provide enough to get your seeds started. After that, I recommend either planting them outdoors or buying a better light.

My sproutlings seem happy so far growing under this light but only so far... if they do end up dying this product still is a nice light for starting seeds and young plants. I will update on plant growth or death under this light with the plant species for a better understanding of this grow light's power. Thanks alot.

I have been using these bulbs for about three years, and always come back to buy more... They work great for added light anywhere it is needed indoors, and keeps my plants happy. I have used these bulbs to start seedlings, but also to maintain healthy growing plants over the winter months. I have been very happy with this product, and will keep using it until I find something that I like better.

I found that it works great for my rare plants and works graet for my one that is 21 inches tall. However it blow about 4 weeks afther i got it. I hope that it was just that bulb but it is the 150 watt grow blub that i can find.

I also had the problem of finding a place near my plant that I could "attach" it to. It has a big clip on it (not on a stand or anything) so that really limited where I could put it.

I bought three of these, one 60 watt bulb, and the others 120watt...all died out under a two month period.

The 60 watt only lasted a week! REALLY.
The other two only one month each.

These bulbs are a rip off, so please do not waist your time, for an extra $10.00 you can purchase a high powered light that will not burn out, and offer a better quality of light.

Given the amount of options in light technology their is really no need to produce such low quality bulbs, even at such a low price. Also, it is not necessary to spend allot of money on lights either, LED lights, and various other new brands of lights can be used together to bring life to your plants, without worrying about them burning out.

These particular grow lights are the lowest of quality,and no longer necessary considering the options we have today.

Don't waist your money, or your time on this brand.

This is a spot light (sun light) for your plant that really works!!!
