Complete HPS light system at an unbeatable price. System comes with Xtrasun Air Coolable reflector, Xtrasun ballast, all system cord set and standard HPS bulb. The ballast has a 5 year warranty, bulb 1 year. General Hydroponics exclusive new control kit is included in the bundle pack. Our kit contains pH Up (add a little at a time when your nutrient pH is too low in order to raise the pH to the desired level), pH Down (uses food grade Phosphoric acid to lower the pH to the desired level), and pH Test Indicator (fill a test-tube halfway with nutrient, add a few drops of pH Test Indicator, and observe the coloration of the liquid in the test vial. Use 3 drops per 5mL of solution). Pipette also included for easy transfer of all liquids. Make sure to clean the pipette between uses. I own several of these exact units, the bulbs included are actually very decent in spectrum/lumens. The hood has knockouts on both ends for attaching 4" ducting and is shaped to accept a flat glass lens (19.5"x21") which I got cut to size for about $8 at the hardware store. The whole system assembles with ease, the ballast operates coolly and dependably.
I believe I have thoroughly explored the market on similar items, and find this to be a better deal than any store or other online outlet, even including the shipping cost in the equation.
