I bought this book along with, "Flood Your Body With Oxygen" by Ed McCabe. This is a good reference book also, a little less involved than McCabe's book but covers the points. After reading both books I decided to start an experiment of my own. As the gardening season was just beginning at that time, I was planting 2 tomato plants in large half barrels on my patio. I decided I would start supplementing the water of one plant with hydrogen peroxide (in the form of a product called "CellFood"). Everyday I put a few drops of CellFood in the water of the one plant and used plain water for the other.. The results are amazing. The plant that is supplemented with CellFood is at least 5 times larger than the non supplemented plant and is incredibly healthy looking. It has tons of tomatoes budding out all over, while the other plant only has 2 so far. My belief is if it can do this for a tomato plant just think what it could do for my own body. I started taking Hyroden Peroxide in the form of "OxyAdvantage" from Healthy World Distributing, and within a short time it was amazing to see the difference in myself. I have so much more energy now. When I ran out of the product, I reverted back to my condition before taking it which was fatigued. I literally felt like I was suffocating and craved oxygen. Yet this is how I had lived for years before discovering oxgyen supplements and thought it was normal. Folks, it's not normal! I quickly ordered more and my husband, who had also been taking it, asked me if it was coming FEDX because he couldn't stand being without it either. We are early on in our oxygen/alkalizing program and are convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt this stuff is great. As we develop better deep breathing techniques and our bodies become more alkaline, I'm confident we eventually won't need the oxgyen supplementation. But folks if you are tired, fatigued and lacking get up and go, read up about Hyrdogen Peroxide and give it a try.

Having been in the Alternative Care field for many years, I have read books on Hydrogen Peroxide. This is the first book that helps us to understand the difference between oral and intravenous application.
Dr. Douglass is also practicing it and combined with UV therapy he has shown a way for treating nearly all diseases without expensive drugs and their potential side effects.

This is a very revealing work on the health benefits and uses of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) which really ought to be called Hydrogen Dioxide. Clinical research on the substance stretches back to 1914; in chapter one the work of doctors Turnicliffe, Stebbing, Cantab, Oliver, Singh, Shah and Rannasarma is discussed.

HP is a generous contributor of oxygen as well as a potent oxidant that oxidizes both non-toxic & toxic substances like bacteria, fungi, parasites and viruses. The body's most lethal germ killers, polymorphonuclear leukocytes, surround bacteria before killing them with a respiratory burst of H2O2. Species with high levels of the enzyme Catalase better tolerate H2O2 as the enzyme breaks it up into oxygen and water.

The author concentrates on intravenous administration and does not want to commit himself on whether it may be taken orally. He does recommend it as a mouthwash instead of using toothpaste. But he doesn't discuss the factor of metal teeth fillings and that H2O2 might corrode these and cause a person to swallow a heavy dose of heavy metal pollutants in the process. As far as taking it orally is concerned, other researchers and alternative healers recommend starting a strong anti-oxidant cocktail regimen in the form of supplements or green tea a couple of days before commencing oral ingestion of this miracle substance. That makes perfect sense and the author ought to have addressed this solution.

Hydrogen dioxide has been used against allergies, arteriosclerosis, arthritis, asthma, bronchiectasis, cancer, emphysema, influenza, multiple sclerosis, pneumonia, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, sinus infection, stomach ulcers, thyroid disease, varicose veins, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, yeast infection, warts & moles, gum disease, bad breath & to promote wound-healing. It has a host of household applications like surface disinfectant, laundry bleach and water purifier.

A chapter is devoted to criticisms of HP therapy and another to the experiments of Dr Charles H Farr and what they revealed of the close connection between HP and the immune system. Colloidal copper exponentially increases the germ-killing power of H2O2 whilst fluorescent light has an adverse effect on tissues exposed to the substance. Humans, horses & cats with their high catalase levels respond well to HP treatment. The author recommends Ozone (O3) for purifying municipal water as it also destroys harmful organisms and breaks down into water & oxygen.

The case histories provided are arranged alphabetically by disease; it should be noted that HP is effective in counteracting pesticide poisoning. The chapter titled Peroxide Therapy, Africa and AIDS deals with a visit to Uganda and also contains case histories. Questions and answers make up the final chapter.

Appendix I provides information on the International Oxidative Medicine Association, Appendix II lists the pathological conditions and infecting agents that are affected by intravenous HP therapy. The latter are classified into bacteria, fungi, parasites, tumor types and viruses. Appendix III examines the metabolic and physiological effects of peroxide healing, including the pulmonary, metabolic rate, enzyme systems and the vascular, granulocyte & immune responses.

The book concludes with notes arranged by chapter, an extensive bibliography and an index. I also highly recommend The Oxygen Prescription by Nathaniel Altman which investigates Ozone Therapy, Hydrogen Peroxide in Medicine and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in great detail.

The book was very informative. Alot of info on what has been done to date. I was looking for more info concerning the oral usage of hydrogen peroxide. This book didn't cover much in that respect.

The medical miracle of H202 is a good straightforward book with information and examples of the medical uses of H202. The good news is William Campbell Douglass is an MD. He shows the uses and misuses of the application of hydrogen peroxide. This is not written like promotional information for the product, which is a good thing. It is simple, dry and humorous at times, which is good for this type of book with health industry jargon. The only bad news is that it would of been nice to see more examples of how the everyday person could find safe uses for the product in there own home, since most of us are not medical practitioners. Don't get me wrong, there are a few good examples of practical uses (including using it as a mouth-wash, toothpaste or to snort as a sinus cleanser), but if you think he is going to recommend using it orally, he won't. Overall, good book, I learnt what I was looking for in obtaining this book, thus I consider it a worthy purchase.

This book is not too long but is packed with great information regarding the substance. It also does looks at H202 from all sides of the coin. It is straight forward enough to understand the benefits of the product and written serious but also entertaining way. The only drawback I found is that almost all the applications were mostly medical ones and I wish there we more examples of how people could use everyday pharmaceutical grade H202 to their benefit. Although it makes sense becaue the book is written by an M.D. and the sub-title is Medical Miracle, it would've been nice to see him take a risk and recommend ways for people to use it on themselves, but he played the safe route and for the most part recommended it not be take orally or self-administered. Overall, well worth the read.

I certainly would recommend this book to everyone. I've heard and read a lot about H202 but this book really nail it on the head for me. I don't think any other book is needed as this completes my study. I will be using H202 more in my personal life.

This book was a bit of a disappointment to me, as I had understood that hydrogen peroxide was an absolutely cure-all substance.

It turns out that taken orally it can do severe damage to the stomach, including cause cancer, in mice. The author believes that in a low dose the substance is safe for us humans to take orally, while another expert does not agree.

However, there has been success with hydrogen peroxide applied intravenously. But this must be done by doctors trained in the application of this therapy, and it doesn't always work. It can be beneficial in the treatment of all sorts of conditions. Among those mentioned are auto-immune diseases, hardening of the arteries, shingles, COPD and yeast and flu syndromes.

The book is extremely technical, much medical terminology being used.

Details of many cases are provided - some people obtain great relief, while in other cases no progress is made.

The book was published in the nineties, it being stated that work was being done to improve the application of the substance, and we would soon all hear of how fantastic it was. However, I haven't seen any more recent books declaring that this is the case, though these may exist.

I would recommend this book only to those severely afflicted who are quite desperate. They could perhaps be helped by the treatment. There is an out-of-date list of hydrogen peroxide practitioners, mostly residing in the USA, at the back of the book.

This book is great reading. If you are considering using Food Grade Peroxide this book is a must read.

This is a substance the the Drug Cartel and FDA do not want you to know about. It is inexpensive and easy to take. There is a CURE for Cancer, AIDS and other diseases. No DRUGS HERE !!!! Get that OXYGEN into your body.........

In addition to this book I also purchased a book from, "Think outside the box" called the "One Minute Cure." It also uses Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide.
