HYDROLOGY, by Serrano covers a wide variety of problems in groundwater hydrology and enviornmental contaminants. The book takes the massive amounts of information available on the subject and puts it in a usable, learnable form. The homework problems are well designed to inforce real world application.

Serrano has written a book which is not only informative, but also easy to read. Many textbooks seem to be the miracle cure for insomnia, but Hydrology by Serrano excites the mind. The reading goes fast and does not require previous knowledge of the subject. The examples are excellent and follow the text well. The formulas throughout the book maintain the same variable names, providing continuity between concepts. Simply one of the best textbooks around.
