Irrefutably the most efficient fat burner EVER!, September 28, 2006
I have tried numerous weight loss products but this has to be the best one. I must admit that I was extremely skeptical at first because Muscletech spends millions on marketing and advertising. Many believe that Muscletech's products are often overrated and not nearly as effective as Muscletech would want us to believe. Now, that may certainly be the case for some of their products but I was amazed by the Hydroxycut Hardcore.
Needless to say, the principal function of any weight loss product is appetite suppression. When I had my first serving I immediately noticed that I was not so hungry anymore and that I became full faster than before. When I was hungry later in the afternoon I was unable to eat as much as I did prior to my use of this product. Moreover, immediately following my first dosage I experienced that my core body temperature became elevated. This is a good sign because this means that your metabolism is doing its work. So far so good.
Now, can all these immense changes that are taking place within your body be healthy for you? I doubt it. Unlike many people who have experienced physical side effects such as headaches, nausea, stomachache etc. I experienced none of those but I had difficulty falling asleep after taking Hydroxycut Hardcore even though I followed the recommended dosage. It says that you should not take Hydroxycut 4 hours before you go to sleep. I did not and yet I stayed up all night and could not sleep. I believe that Hydroxycut Hardcore can cause sleep deprivation, panic attacks and anxiety since many people who have used Hydroxycut frequently report these side effects.
That said, I still recommend this product simply because it is efficient and by far the best fat burner on the market. Whether its benefits outweigh the side effects is ultimately up to you to decide.

6 pounds in 2 weeks!!!, October 1, 2006
Evaluation: This is an improvement over the ephedra-free version, which basically had no effect on me at all. I feel increased energy throughout the day and taking the second dose at 5:00 PM helps with appetite control at dinner time. We will see if the 7.9% boasted on the label is true by December (my goal).
Progress: I have lost 6 pounds in two weeks 255-249. I sit behind a desk all day. I try to go to the gym 3-4 times per week and play cricket once per week (20-25 overs). I have also made an attempt to reduce my caloric intake to 2500 calories per day, eating better quality foods, and reducing (but not eliminating) my fat and carb intake. I take my doses 1 hour after breakfast and 2 hours before dinner.
Side Effects: About 30 minutes after you take this, your scalp will start tingling. The tingling sensation is much stronger after the second dose each day. Heed the instructions on the dosages, starting off with 1 pill per dose. I have had no trouble sleeping at night, but I do have increased dream activity. As I am taking this with MMUSA creatine serum, I am not sure which (if not both) is causing the excessive dreaming. There are no other side effects that I am aware of.
Disclaimer: The only way to permanently lose fat is proper diet and exercise! This supplement is helping me reach my weight goal. I intend to remain at that goal by controlling my food intake and exercising.

Couldn't take product, February 17, 2007
Occasional sufferer of migraine headaches. However, I had 4 migraines (unprecedented) in the 1 week period that I took this product. Could be coincidence, however, migraines stopped after I discontinued the product.

Works okay initially, but effects seem to be wearing off, October 3, 2006
I'm a college student and have been on hydroxycut for about 3 weeks or so. I got it after reading some reviews online and I thought it would be worth it to try it out.
At the start I was 175 (5'10) and now, about 3 weeks later, I'm around 168. Now, that IS a loss of 8 lbs or so but let me explain how I used this product. I started lifting about 4 weeks ago and now, after 4 weeks, I've been seeing some fairly decent results, which puts the weight gain into question. Did I lose weight from hydroxycut or just from working out?
HOWEVER, I must say this. The first few days when I took it I had almost no appetite. My friend was taking it with me and we barely ate ANTYHING. Honestly, it felt great to not want to eat. We'd have like 1/2 a burger for lunch and be full. Great feeling.
but, as time wore on, it's been getting less and less effective. Now, I don't really feel the appetite suppression that much. It might be because I'm getting used to it or something, but I'm definitely not feeling it as strongly as before.
There is one thing that REALLY bugs me. This thing will totally mess up your sleep schedule. I take the pills at about 5PM and it'll be 3-4AM and I won't be alseep. For this reason alone I'm considering getting off these pills and just working out.
Bottom line: Definitely curbs appetite (for a while) but severely messes up sleep.

*Review After 1st Day of Use*, January 24, 2007
I popped a pill when a woke up (around 10:30am) and waited 30min so i could eat a fruitcup (dont ask, only thing i could find)I then played roller hockey with a bunch of people for 2 hours...i noticed that:
-people were getting tired before i did
-i still had energy to play after the game
-i didnt feel hungry after eating the fruit cup
-a regular botttle of water seemed "filling"
Then around 4, i took the second pill (for the first day, you are recommended to take 2 pills) and had a protien bar/turkey n' cheese sandwhich 40min after taking the 2nd pill. I lifted 20lb dumbbells for about 15 minutes. Then i went to work at 5...i noticed that:
-the pill doesnt seem to make you work out harder, it feels like it makes it more efficient though
-i didnt feel hungry during my 4hrs at work
-i didnt feel tired after work, but now i feel tired 2hrs later
-i had a lot of energy, felt happier, and felt more focused...i did a lot of work in a short amount of time (must of been the caffine)
-i forced myself to drink water a couple times (im not a big water guy)
Around 9:30, i had a bowl of soup for dinner, and now it's 10:57, i feel:
-my legs are a little tired
-i could eat, but i dont feel like it
-im pretty much wide awake, i'll probably fall asleep around 3-4am

Useful, August 1, 2006
I found Hydroxycut Hardcore to be one of the best weight loss products out there that can help you lose weight. Note that the keyword here is "help". I've previously used Xenadrine and Ripped Fuel (or whatever it's called) and feel I got the most out of Hydroxycut.
Do remember that any weight-loss drugs are "supplements", not miracle cures. To REALLY lose weight, I say you run and lift every day for at least two hours (On average, I went for three) and COMPLETELY change up your diet (Eat a good-sized meal at the start of your day and gradually decrease the portion size by the end). Since last summer, while adhering to a strict diet and going to the gym every night after work and on my days off, I've lost 60+ lbs with the help of Hydroxycut and other similar products (Currently 163 lbs.).
It is certainly true that you shouldn't use the pills 5 hours before you go to sleep or else you'll be up until sunrise.
The bottom line: Hydroxycut Hardcore WILL give you the energy you need to have an effective workout, but it's up to you on HOW you will use that energy.

Really Intense, July 22, 2006
I'm dabbled in the fat burner a little bit before. I used Anadrox for about 2 months and was happy with the toning job it did. I typically weigh about 180 lbs, but I got up near 187 when I came home from school and couldn't choose everything I ate like I do at school. I still work out 4-5 times a week, and take Muscle Milk as my protein supplement before everyworkout. I saw a deal online for Hydroxycut Hardcore and decided to try it. Its been a week and all I can say is DAMN!!!!!!! I never expected this to be this intense. You get really jittery abotu a half hour after you take it, and you almost need to drink lots of water just to calm yourself down. I would also suggest a multi-vitamin of some kind because this product clearly sends your system into overdrive and probably depletes it of alot of resources. VERY IMPORTANT: The back label says don't take within 5 hours of bedtime! Follow this! Infact, push it up to 6! I stupidly took these at midnight last night and tweaked out till 8am the next morning. If you'r enot comfortable with the chemical high this product has, I would avoid it and hit the eleptical for an extra fifteen minutes a day. I'll report back in a few weeks with results, but I can without a doubt say theres something going on inside of me and its huge!

Scary but I'm pretty sure it works, December 17, 2007
First disclaimer- this is a very, very initial review. I have only been able to take this product twice. First time I did it in a very, very bad way. I was burnt out and going to a concert so I took one pill. Half an hour or so later, not noticing any changes, I drank about half of a 5 hour energy drink and a red bull. Obviously, stupid, stupid, stupid! Having experimented with meth as a teen and hating it then, I found I felt very very similar and it was pretty brutal. I was spun out of my mind, in a bad way.
Fast forward to the second time I took a pill- mid-afternoon, just before getting to the gym. Again, huge rush. My muscles, however, felt all squishy when I tried to weight train and got tired fast and stayed sore for two days- I have read other reviews saying it isn't so great for weight training. BUT, it seemed great for cardio, endurance, and appetite suppression. I did a 60 min spinning class- first spinning class in about a year, and I used to do only 45 minute ones- and had the endurance to push through it. I was scared most of the time of having a heart attack though, not just cause I'm out of shape, but because this product makes my heart thud like crazy. I have a heart murmer too...so it freaks me out. It also may have given me a really weird break-out on my face- I've read in forums that some hydroxycut users get funky acne, but feel like it is worth it. Hmmm...
Where I'm at with this now is scared. I've tried a handful of other supplements and never felt anything close to the intensity of this, never had the head change, shakes, rapid heart beat, dehydrated and horribly thirsty feeling this gave me. I am going to try to muster up the courage to take this again, but earlier in the day, and let you all know what happens. Maybe I'm just too damn sensitive!
