This is an amazing product. I have an extremely stressful job and a co-worker recommended Calms to me. I do not take it as a sleep aid, but I have found Calms Forte to be a great help to remove that anxious, stressed-out, overwhelmed feeling and make it possible to just stay focused and get the job done without freaking out about it. I have noticed no side effects or wierd feelings, only that I feel more centered and have more of a sense of order and even a sense of humor about things, even in the midst of relative pandamonium. Its effect is subtle but extremely effective. Highly recommended!

I have trouble sleeping and this really does the trick. I just take it about 30 minutes before sleep and it really helps to relax me.

My 14 year old Jack Russell terrier has begun displaying symptons of canine dementia, the worst of which is pacing and anxiety. I've been a fan of Hyland's Calm Forte for many years and I thought I'd try it for the dog's anxiety. I've been using it now for about a week, and am very happy with the results. We did rule out other causes of the pacing, and the vet was willing to go along with me trying a natural remedy. The dog is much more comfortable in his environment and we are relieved that he's doing well.

I know it's not marketed for animals, but when I was in the Natural Food Store and asked about something to help my 10 year old dog she suggested this. He has never liked thunderstorms or fireworks (living in Florida they are daily occurrences in the summer) and it's 4th of July. Now that he is getting older he scares me - I keep worrying he will have a heart attack. He starts shaking, pants really heavy, and tries to climb under things even if there is no "under" (like my son's captains bed)- so I gave this a shot. He's about 50lbs, so I gave him 2 at first (ground them up, mixed with PB)- seemed to take the edge off. Today, with fireworks AND thunderstorm I gave him three. I can't believe it, he is chilling out. I can actually leave the room without him being on my heels. So happy! I will probably try this myself - I'll let you know how that works out.

I decided to try out calms forte because i wanted to switch to something natural.
The recommendation for the sleep deprived is 3 tablets.
I took 3 tablets at 12 midnight. At 2am i still felt virtually nothing however i did feel a bit more calm.
I decided to take 3 more tabs and at by 4am i still didn't feel a thing so i took 2 more. That's 8 tabs in total.
By 6am i decided well this product doesn't work for me so i took 2 compoz pills. It is now 7am and the only reason i'm actually starting to feel tired is because of the compoz.

I have used Calms pills for several years and it never ceases to amaze me that they consistently calm your mind down from overthinking and worries that keep me awake. These are homopathic, so I can take three or four at a time and you notice almost nothing but a slight sensation that you can now take a deep breath. That is sometimes all it takes to relax and get tired enough to sleep soundly. I highly recommend these and often introduce others to them.....

I've had major insomnia for 5 weeks and I finally couldn't take it so I bought this at the supermarket. I tried Melatonin once and I didn't feel anything. My friend took half a pill and was asleep in an hour. I took one and I was still awake 2 hours later. Calms Forte Sleep Aid didnt help either. First night I took 2 at midnight. I was still up at 2:00 AM so i took another 2. I was up until 8 am. I tried again the next day. Took 2 at 11 pm, was still up at 2 am so I took another 2. By 6 am I was still up. Keep in mind that I was in bed, with the light off this whole time. I kept tossing and turning, getting up to use the bathroom, checking the time, trying to sleep, getting up to use the bathroom again. I was in bed from midnight till 10 am, having taken 4 pills (which is more than the suggested dosage), and I was still wide awake.Worst part was I was stressing out even more because if I can't sleep, I can't stay awake and function properly during the day. So I don't know about everyone else, but this didn't help relieve stress or help me sleep at all.

in these stressful and anxiety producing times the pharma industry and mental health professionals would have you believe you have to get a prescription medication with all the nasy side effects to relive anxiety and nervous tension.
such is not the case. i was astounded at the effects that calm forte had on me. at first i thought it was just a coincidence, that maybe it was the placebo effect or that at that particular time of day when i first took it, was a low anxiety time for me. but i am on my second dose and went through the better part of the day without nervous tension or anxiety.
probably one of the best discoveries of my lifetime. no more pacing the floor of my room waiting for the hours to pass and nightfall to come to get some relief from anxiety or nervous tensions.

I bought CalmsForte about 3 years ago at the suggestion of my therapist, to help me sleep. I don't have chronic insomnia, but I do get bouts of it when I am too anxious to sleep. I find that when I take 3 tablets of CalmsForte about half hour before bed, I fall asleep quickly and sleep better through the night. It's a remedy that helps relieve the wired, edgy, anxious state which works perfectly for me. This is NOT for people with chronic insomnia. Even on the box it says "temporary symptomatic relief of simple nervous tension and occasional sleeplessness." It does what it's supposed to!!

I've been using Hyland's Calms Forte for several years now. I take 4 at bedtime and never have a problem going to sleep. Highly recommend it. No side effects, no foginess the next day, all natural, etc.
