These are a lifesaver!!! We never would have made it through teething without them. We went through two bottles in 16 teeth, and are back to re-stock for the 2-year molars.

In spite of the 5-star review for the product, this seller is s-l-o-o-o-w for a Prime seller. We ordered on the 19th & our order is not scheduled to arrive until the 26th. Paying for Prime shipping, I expect more. As it is, we're going to have to buy a bottle of these locally since this order won't arrive in time. I didn't feel it was fair to dock the product for this seller's slow shipping; just wanted folks to be aware to plan for a possible delay.

Look, I'm a big fan of science. I drive a car. I use a computer. I use traditional medicine. When we had some friends who are a little more 'earthy' than us give us a bottle of these teething tabs, I was a little skeptical. When our little one finally started having the painful feelings of his teeth descend from his skull and erupt from his tiny gums like foreign invaders from the center of the earth, we tried many ways to soothe our child's gums. Remembering that this was given to us, we gave our little one two tablets. Almost immediately, the results were shown and our child went from trying to smack the dissolving tablets out of my hand to readily accepting them.

The tablets don't last long but they seem to last long enough. As part of a night time or pre-nap ritual, we would give our child these tablets and they would work just long enough to get some peaceful sleep for our child... and us.

I have an early teether. At 2.5 months he started gnawing nonstop on his fists and drooling, suddenly waking multiple times a night when previously he'd slept 9-12 hours straight (boo). The pediatrician said there was no way he could be teething so soon, never mind the fact that some babies are born with teeth. Now, at 3.5 months he has a bottom front tooth poking out. There is not a whole heck of a lot you can do with a 3.5 month old teething baby. He can hold onto toys and put them into his mouth, but he lacks the coordination to keep them there, and his mouth is still really small. So, I decided to try these. They do seem to bring some relief, since he has a hard time eating when his mouth hurts. When I give him two of these he seems to be able to eat without as much discomfort. Poor guy.

I love that these don't have a bunch of crap in them that I can't pronounce. These have been around awhile and they're made in the United States. I realize they have belladonna in them, but what exactly is in your Tylenol? If you know anything at all about homeopathic remedies, you understand that there is a very tiny trace amount of the ingredient in the tablets. It doesn't scare me at all.

I'm happy to find a homeopathic solution to a situation that is probably going to be reoccurring for the next 2-3 years or so. Yippee.

I have been a long time purchaser of Hyland's products, and have used the teething tablets for all of my children. Well, when the recall happened, I was devastated! The teething gel just doesn't cut it for a baby cutting molars. I found another product that worked as well, but it's a liquid, and I've always been a fan of the tablets. These really work for calming a teething baby. My toddler is cutting 4 molars, and 4 teeth in the front at the same time. He's been miserable, but Hyland's to the rescue!

I found these at a B&M (brick and mortar) store for cheaper than here, but buy them where ever you can! I recommend these to any parent of a teething infant/toddler.

My son started teething at 3 months, and thus baby orajel was not recommended for him. I was worried about the recall, but my doctor and the pharmacist both assured me that they were ok now. These tablets work great. I only have to use one tablet instead of the two they say to use, and the relief seems to last about 2-3 hours.

I absolutely love these teething tablets and so does my son. He can be super fussy and teething and as soon as he sees me opening the bottle to get him some he immediately calms down. And within minutes of giving him these his symptoms have subsided and he's calmed. Love these and will always keep these stocked in my house!

I can't believe I'm saying this, but these work great and almost immediately. My daughter very happily lets me put them in her mouth, because even she knows that they work. They are a life saver and will be part of every baby shower gift I give from now on.

While most homeopathic remedies don't actually contain a single molecule of the original substance, these tablets do contain detectable amounts of belladonna alkaloids. It doesn't take much belladonna to have an allopathic effect. The prescription medication for adults called Donnatal has hyoscyamine sulfate 0.1037mg, atropine sulfate 0.0194mg, and scopolamine HBr 0.0065mg -- and is very strong. If these work at all, it's because your baby is getting an allopathic dose of belladonna, not because of any homeopathic effects.

But that means these tablets can cause side effects, and have in many babies. Also, Hylands has demonstrated time and again that their manufacturing processes are sloppy and the amount of belladonna is not standardized or held to the same quality control checks as FDA-approved medication. While too little is certainly better than too much, in the best case scenario these are sugar pills. In the worst case, you're risking poisoning your child. When dosed correctly, Tylenol is far safer and more effective. At least you know how much Tylenol you're giving.
