5.0 out of 5 stars Hyland's Nerve Tonic Works as a Stress Reliever!
Surprisingly, the Hyland's Nerve Tonic works. The closest way I can try to explain how it works is that it feels like a deep, cleansing breath would! Odd, I know, but truthful for us. 2.0 out of 5 stars sometimes works, sometimes edgy
Sometimes this works pretty good. The problem is, when it doesn't work it has caused really bad anxiety for both my wife and I.

Surprisingly, the Hyland's Nerve Tonic works. The closest way I can try to explain how it works is that it feels like a deep, cleansing breath would! Odd, I know, but truthful for us. Watch when purchasing this product for the different types of pills. There are two, and the packaging looks almost exactly the same. One, like this one, has 500 TABLETS and they are TINY, perhaps a little less than 1/2 the size of a Tic Tac candy, but are circular tablets that can dissolve directly in your mouth without water, if desired. The recommended dose on the bottle is "Adults and children 12 years and over: Dissolve 6 tablets in mouth before each meal and at bedtime. Children under 12 years: 1/2 adult dose." The other type of pill is a CAPLET, it is about the size of an oblong Motrin caplet (smaller than a Tylenol caplet.) The directions from the bottle for the caplet use are "Adults and children 12 years and over: Take 1 to 2 caplets with water before each meal and at bedtime. Children under 12 years: 1/2 adult dose." The common caplet size bottle, like from Walmart, has 32 caplets. They both work, just make sure you're purchasing the desired pill type. Our opinion, small caplets are better if taking normally, the tiny tablets are better if on the go without a liquid to swallow it with. I love that it is 100% natural, non-habit forming, and claims to be safe & effective against SIMPLE nervous tension and stress. There is the generic warning listed on the bottle "As with any drug, ask a doctor before use if pregnant or nursing." That is not an issue for us, but wanted to notate the warning for others. I say go for it, if considering buying this stress reliever. Perhaps just a placebo effect, but it consistently helps regardless!

5.0 out of 5 stars I think it's great!, August 26, 2011
I got a bottle of this stuff from walmart because I am an entering sophomore in college and I'm stressed out all the time. In a half an hour I felt very calm after only one pill! very good.

Hyland's - Nerve Tonic Tablets, 500 tablets

When I ordered this product, it showed that I was ordering 1000 tablets. I received only 500. I e-mailed Amazon and I e-mailed the seller [...]. I only heard back from the seller who does not help anyone out who orders through Amazon as they are not responsible for any typographical errors. They did e-mail me to let me know that they will give me a credit which is enough for free shipping on my next order. Never did get a response from Amazon.

Love the product though.

Sandy
