I HAVE BEEN CLUELESS ON THIS FOR TOO LONG,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hyland's Ruta Graveolens, 250 Tablets (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
If the product description is correct and complete, these RUTA GRAVEOLENS tablets seem only to contain nothing but lactose (sugar) and nothing else. There is no RUTA GRAVEOLENS in them, not even at the slightest molecular level. I bought them more than a year ago for my tendinitis and it only improved after I decided to utilize in combination with a concentrated herbal extract that I bought on a traditional medicine store. Let me be clear about something: I love Nature and I love all the good things that it gives us in terms of food, beauty, fun and in this case medicine. Since I was a kid I've had the chance to try out and confirm the effectiveness of traditional medicine for primary health care (the "ol' granny" secret recipes for common cold, stomach aches and so forth). It was only natural that as I grew up I deeply believed in the virtues of homeopathy as a natural choice for medical treatment. However, as I read more I understood that I have spent years confusing homeopathy (that attempts to treat patients with heavily diluted preparations) with phytotherapy (the medicinal use of plant extracts). During a heated debate with a physician who criticized homeopathy I realized that I had no clue about what homeopathy truly is. I read books, browsed the web and now I know that the extreme dilutions used in homeopathic preparations usually leave none of the original material in the final product. Most of people love and believe in natural traditional medicine as well but many confuse it, as I've done for so long, with homeopathy which is NOT AT ALL the same thing. Back then I had no idea and I thought homepathy worked only a a MUCH slower rate. Guys (and gals) really, we ordinary people get it right with our common sense about the virtues of nature but get it wrong when we get confused and defend something as unnatural as homeopathy as opposed to phytotherapy. I firmly recommend you check the following terms on Wikipedia and the web and you will also understand: Homeopathy, Pharmacognosy, phytotherapy and ethnobotany. It's an eye-opener and if you don't find this review too long you will be able to read easily about them on Wikipedia.
