The first time that I used the gel my 4.5 month old fell asleep immediately, the relief it gave him was clear. One month on, the effect is not as significant.

While I am glad that I purchased the product, I am no longer certain that it is relieving him or me upon application. His pediatrician has greater faith in the power of Tylenol... but I am leery about giving him Tylenol whenever his teeth bother him.

What has worked best for me is a frozen banana on a stick.
