A beautiful collection of peaceful and worshipful hymns played on the piano; uninterrupted by song breaks or applause. Terrific for setting a musical background.

I have really enjoyed listening to this Hymn Collection by Anthony Burger. Anyone who enjoys listening to the old hymns will truly appreciate this CD.

I purchased this as a gift for a co-worker. As soon as he opened it he began playing it. He is a fan of Anthony Burger (which I didn't know at the time) and he says that this CD measures up to all his previous knowledge of this artist. It provided and continues to provide a soothing backdrop for any number of activities - work, driving, etc.

This album of all-time classic hymns is THE BEST gospel instrumental collection I have ever heard. Anthony's unique ability to "make a piano talk" characterizes each song. The medleys are seemless and allow him to include so many songs of my youth heard in the little country church. But his modern arrangements add a current flair magnifying their brilliance.
I found this CD on Amazon accidentally, maybe not, while searching for music to be played at my grandmother's funeral visitation. But this record is anything but mournful. I selected it because of its quantity and world-class quality of inspirational songs. One can easily imagine him playing this music in Carnegie Hall, a Gaither's Homecoming concert, or any church.
To my knowledge, this is Anthony's last recording before his untimely death. It is the ultimate tribute to a man who literally almost lost his hands as a boy, but lived to bless us with arguably the best Southern Gospel piano ever played.

The disk I ordered was what was shipped, it was in great condition and it arrived quickly. I'm happy with this seller.

It is nice, but not powerful and dynamic like his music charisteristically is. I wouldn't have bought it if I had heard it first. It's nice, but not fabulous as I assumed it would be.

This is good when you want to pray and worship the Lord. Not up beat and no singing, great spending time in prayer.
