You simply cannot go wrong purchasing ANY of Paul Cardall's music! His stuff is inspirational, moving, spiritual, WONDERFUL!!! Buy and ENJOY!!!

I downloaded this as MP3s...highly, highly recommend getting this! Paul Cardall is very talented! And the price is great!

This can be listened to anytime, but for a Sunday with the family NOTHING is better than this music. PERFECT!

I had heard Pauls' music several times on my Pandora channel and wanted to get this collection. Some of the music I didn't recognize, despite being raised in the Christian faith. After I got the album, I figured out why! Many of these 'hymns' are Mormon hymns, such as 'A poor wayfaring man of grief' (a hymn that Joseph Smith requested just before his assasination); 'O My Father', which has blatantly Mormon lyrics; Josephs (smiths) First Prayer, a song about him at the age of 14 going into the sacred grove to discover which was the true church...to name a few. True, there are beautifully rendered, familiar hymns like 'God Be With You', Come Thou Fount and quite a few others. Just be aware that this is a collection of both traditional Christian and Mormon hymns. I gave the collection five stars based on the sheer beauty of the hymns melodies, and Pauls playing.

Music is very pretty, but the songs referring to Joseph Smith ruined it for me. If this had just had Christian songs praising God instead of Joseph, would have loved it. LDS are good people, but I pray they will come to know the Jesus of the Bible, not the altered one their church has created. God Bless.

I LOVED these CDs! I love how all these beautiful spiritual hymns were rearranged so that they sound quite a bit different and yet they still retain their beauty and spirituality! I bought these for my teenage daughter who plays the piano (hoping to inspire her to want to continue playing) and she really enjoys them. We also listen to them as a family in our family room stereo and they really bring a warmth to our home! I especially enjoy listening to them on Sundays.

Love the music on these CDs. Such a large collection so it's nice to play for long periods of time. Paul Cardall is so talented.

When I heard his music I was impressed, when I heard his story I was touched, this and his other music gives motion to the angles wings. Very very happy I ordered this CD.

I'll admit I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to religious music. I think it should be reverent with depth of meaning. Nearly all of the religious music available approaches a ridiculous level of cheesy'ness, and most of it focuses almost entirely on how hard life is and the darkest moments of life. Add the overly dramatic, affected sighs and breathing of many of the artists- it becomes unbearable to listen to (at least for me). I won't even start with the irreverence of the pop/rock genre of religious music. I realize some find this inspiring and motivational and that's wonderful, but it's just not for me.

Mr. Cardall's music is refreshing in its simplicity and interpretation of hymns that are both reverent, respectful, and inspiring. It's a marvelous change of pace from "common" music, talk radio, etc.

These cd's are full of Hymns that have been beautifully arranged by the artist. I love the peaceful moments I have listening to this music while I drive to and from work each day. I've also shared the peace of this music with my brother who is fighting Leukemia. Thank you to the original Hymns authors and composers for your words of strength and peace, and thank you to Paul for this work of art that only enhances the original messages written. These Hymns take you right into the chapel, sitting quietly, listening to the prelude music, and receiving inspiration and direction from the Holy Spirit.
