and now I wear make-up,

before , I was a regular guy , before . Then I saw Rachel Stamp at the Tunbridge Wells forum and it changed my life , I have become a child of glam . The album does not disappoint anyone whose expectations have been raised through the roof by seeing one of their brilliant live performances . The songs rage where it's needed and are so tender in others you'll cry. THE band to watch in the future , they are gonna grow and grow and i'm gonna buy all the make-up in the world

this is the best, dirtiest, sleaziest, prettiest glam trash metal album since the original bands exploded themselves years ago. opening track "monsters of the new wave" grabs even the most conservative of your friends up and out of their chair and onto the dance floor. its as though something crawled in through your ears and filled your brain with glitter, screaming to you, "FUN! FUN! WE ARE HAVING FUN!" since i'm listening to the manic street preachers at the moment, i'm going to compare them to each other - sonically only, there's absolutely no overt message in RS's songs (although i have read that "i wanna be your doll" is about the opression of catholicism) - but the catchy beats and tunes and the outrageous guitar (courtesy of will crewdson), along with david ryder-prangleys sexed-up squeals and creams will be sure to make any lover of glam-metal wet themselves with delight. this album is worth tracking down, so go to their site: rachelstamp.com and ENJOY!

They really do rock!,

After seeing them live at The Charlotte (Leicester) I just had to see if the album was any match for their live gigs and I was not disapointed. The albums great but you should never miss an opportunity to see them live because they really do rock. PS If you do go to a gig remember two things 1)loads of makeup (glitter) 2)If you meet a guy called Joe tell him we miss him and that he should came home more often!

Hey hey Rachel Stamp, you're really fantastic. The debut album is 12 perfect tracks- 10 fast, explosive, testosterone powered songs with naughty words, and two slower ones which sparkle like glitter trodden into the post-gig sludge. It's impossible to say which ones stand out, but my personal favourites are Monsters Of The New Wave (could there be a better song for tearing up photos?), My Sweet Rose and Take A Hold Of Yourself. But don't take my word for it- buy this album and make Rachel Stamp bigger than Madonna!

Imagine, dear reader, a mixture of Hanoi Rocks, New York Dolls, Poison, Aerosmith, Mott The Hoople, Placebo, Motorhead, Duran Duran, Eddie Izzard,Star Star,in fact all that you ever loved about rock and roll in the first place with all its excitement, glitter and glamour all wrapped up up in one precious collection. This album has hardly been out of my CD player since it came out over here about a month ago. Every song is a classic, the tunes stick in your head for days and if you ever get the chance to see them live you must beg, steal, crawl, whatever to get in to be part of the best looking audience a band ever had. buy this album ....I insist....
