This CD brings me back to my childhood. My mom used to play this heavenly music when it was a long playing album and it would transport us to spiritual places like no other music. This CD is a wonderfully remastered version of the original. Tennessee Ernie Ford's heavenly deep voice will bring you to spiritual places as well. Happy Easter--and many more!!

I have this old Tennessee Ernie Ford item on a well-used, scratched LP and was delighted to find it on CD. These hymns never grow old, and the arrangements for Ford's beautiful voice and a choir are terrific. Whether you're religious or not, this is a must-have, just for the joy of the music.

For those of us who remember how church music was in the days of yore this collection is as good as it gets. If "When they ring those Golden Bells" fails to crank your tractor what will. No BeeBop "religious" tunes here. And the back-up courtesy Jack Fascinato and singers is outstanding. I can't help wonder where all those glorious female voices came from. THIS DISC IS A KEEPER.
