Great bag!, July 20, 2010

I just got the bag today in Prussian Blue. Turns out that it's actually teal and not blue. Normally I would be upset that the photo didn't match the actual product, but the teal is such a beautiful (and unique!) color so I can't complain. The leather is soft and thick, and the orange lining is bright & adds a nice pop of color to the bag.
The bag is separated into two compartments. The divider is a zipped bag in itself, which gives you even more space in this already large bag. There is also 2 pockets and an additional zipped pocket.
I love the turnlock closure; it doesn't sit awkwardly when the bag is not filled to capacity (as I've heard happens with the Jackie satchel). The hardware's finish is aged rather than overly shiny, which looks really nice. I also love that the front zipper actually conceals a small pocket! Perfect for a phone or keys. I thought it was just there for show, but it's actually useful.
Just a warning, the bag is a bit wide and heavy (I'm guessing it's because of the hardware)! I'm 5'4 and the bag is the size of my entire torso, but I love big bags.
Overall, it's a great bag and I am very happy with my purchase (if you couldn't tell by my ridiculously long description). I might have to buy it in another color. :)
