5.0 out of 5 stars Doggie Driver Rocks!
This is a great product if you like the challenge of hitting a drive straight and love to play with your dog in the park. After 15 swings I dialed it in! I love it and I think my real golf swing is better for it!

Awesome - Go Doggie Driver!

1.0 out of 5 stars what an utter disappointment
We have tried to use this multiple times and it never works. My husband is a golfer, he knows how to swing a club. The ball either wont fly out of the holder, or you have to barely place it in the holder so it can fly out and then it just flies a few feet with no control. We have used the ball included, old balls, tennis balls, smooth balls, makes no difference what...

5.0 out of 5 stars I saw the Doggie Driver on the "Today Show", April 14, 2006
I saw the Doggie Driver on the "Today Show" last week with Katie Couric. It was everything they said and much more. It's a great way to practice your swing and have fun with your best friend. I highly recommend the Doggie Driver if you love golf!

The Doggie Driver is a BAll!

The ball either wont fly out of the holder, or you have to barely place it in the holder so it can fly out and then it just flies a few feet with no control. We have used the ball included, old balls, tennis balls, smooth balls, makes no difference what the ball texture is, it either is too loose or too tight. I wish I kept the receipt, I would return it if I had.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not really safe, November 23, 2010

Generally I love devices that help launch a ball so a dog can get a bit more exercise. However, I dislike this one because the ball leaves the ground and goes up. If your dog is eager to grab the ball, they can easily get in the way and be struck by the club or by the ball leaving at a high speed. I've seen a few dogs at the park injured with this product and similar ones. It's much safer to use a Chuckit! Pocket Ball Launcher (Colors Vary). Not only will you not injure your dog, but it's easier to launch. I've seen one dog try to get the ball before the person has time to "swing" the club. All in all, there are much better options than this considering the Chuckit is also cheaper.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun for all!, March 25, 2006
This product is so great! I have so much more fun swinging the club rather than throwing the ball for my dog....and she's loving that I take her to play catch more often now. I love the Doggie Driver!

4.0 out of 5 stars Quite fun, January 7, 2008

The Hyperdog Doggie Driver is quite fun. Unlike many gadgets, this one hasn't broken yet, so we're still enjoying it. Be careful with your first few drives, as the ball may take off in an unexpected direction. After a few swings, it becomes more natural. Although the item states that it should only be used with the enclosed ball, a regular tennis ball works fine. My 7 year old son has enjoyed it as much as his parents - and our dog seems to LOVE it. He's a black lab, so retrieving is what makes him happy. We like working on our golf swings, so it's "win-win". Between the cost of the item plus the extra for shipping, I thought it was a bit expensive. After the fun we've had, however, I now think it's worth the money.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great idea, not sure it helps the swing though..., December 29, 2007

Throws the ball a very nice distance. Great idea and creation. You have to swing up in the air a bit and not sure that is the best thing for your golf swing. Outside of that, it's a crowd favorite.

I bought this product as a gift for a friend. He just loved it and couldn't wait to try it out with his dog. The dog is also a big fan! You can "hit" the ball further and don't need to touch it with your hands - perfect.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Gift for Dog and Golf Lover, December 11, 2006

Still a great product years after. Made well, not cheap. You must be a golfer to use this product. A poor swing and the ball will not come out or will not go very far. Best part is you don't have to touch the slimy tennis ball. My dog still goes after the backswing so we've had some close calls. I still like my Chuck It better but that's just because the ball goes farther.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous exerciser for your pup!, March 11, 2008

I bought this for my fiance and our dog -- and they both just love it! It gives our dog tons of exercise, and is a lot of fun for my fiance to use as well. It will not really help you practice your golf swing, as it requires a different technique to get the ball going far, but once you master how to use it, it "launches" much further than a chucker so will keep your dog very entertained!
