Launches about 15 feet, tops. not even close to 100 feet. Also, the rubber you pull to launch breaks extremely easily. Waste of $.

This was a GREAT toy. My dog loved it, but it just didn't last very long. I have a lab that loves to retrieve. She couldn't get enough of this toy. It only lasted about 4 days before all the seams started to open up. My dog is not a chewer either. This was just in the course of normal play. We were bummed, because it was so much fun. We are thinking we'll just wrap the whole thing in duct tape to get it to last a little longer. :(

I love the idea of this toy - kind of a sling shot. However, my dog is a very vigorous player and went through two of these in a relatively short period of time.

The beak snapped off on the second pull. Weak. And that was my poor dog's Christmas gift! I guess he'll have to be content with that huge bone we got him.

We purchased the item at a local store an hour ago. We came home, unpacked the groceries, and took the packaging of the duck. Our dog was all excited. My boyfriend made it fly down the hall, Bubba brought it back. Again this routine happened. The third time my boyfriend went to make it fly, the rubber bungee snapped. The toy lasted all TWO retrievals and it was useless. This item is a great idea, but very poorly manufactured and the craftmanship of the materials is substandard. Stick to the Chuck-It toys.

Bought this for my 2 year old Akita mix. Destroyed in 10 minutes, no exaggeration. My dog is not a huge chewer and I thought it felt like tough canvas, but I was wrong. Would be good for a very soft mouthed dog.

So disappointed in this toy! What a waste of money! Our 6 month old lab chewed through the ducks head in 15 minutes!!!!! By the next day, I had to cut the entire duck off the rope! Not only had he destroyed it but the outer shell unravels into long strings that choke. This is not only a waste of money but it is not safe....

This toy broke the first time we started to play with it. My dog however still enjoys carrying it around in her mouth. She doesn't seem to care her duck has no beak.

I launched the duck a few times (maybe 5-6) and my Kerry Blue Terrier retrieved it. On the last few returns the duck looked more then a bit worn out. On a closer inspection the seams on both the belly and back came apart - the white stuffing in full view... i wouldn't recommended this toy to any dog owner its a complete waste of money.

Bought this for my Golden Retriever... Lasted a few hours even though she is very gentle on her toys. Her teeth penetrated right through the "durable" fabric. I contacted the company, Hyper-Pet, and it took them over a week to address my concerns. And their response to my complaint was that it was my dog's fault... It is not intended to be a chew toy, even though she was not using it as a chew toy. I will NEVER buy from this company again and will let all my dog owner friends and family the same! Extremely disappointed!
