5.0 out of 5 stars The Hypercycle : A Principle of Natural Self Organization, February 7, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: The Hypercycle: A Principle of Natural Self Organization (Paperback)
This is a much-overlooked work which provides not only biochemical but mathematical and formal methods for describing self-organization. It presents, in graph theoretical terms, a toplogical analysis of what it takes for a process to be robustly self-organizing. Should be read by computer scientists, as well as biochemists. A key reference for hierarchy theory and autopoiesis.
