5.0 out of 5 stars Best Dog Disc Ever!
Excellent dog disc! Light weight w/the ability to get great loft, yet durable. "Chew resistant" means your pooch won't be able to punture it while he/she CATCHES IT, but they CAN chew it up if you give them time alone with it. My first JAWS was torn up that way. When you're done playing with your dog, keep JAWS out of their reach. JAWS is the best dog disc on the...

1.0 out of 5 stars My dog chewed it
Hi,

I have a one year old border collie/ rat terrier mix and I have not been able to find any frisbee that he cannot destroy. I have tried the Kong, the Hyperflite Jawz, The Zogoflex Zisc and the Nylabone Flexible Frisbee Flying Disc and he has been able to chew all of them. I try to keep it away from him, but it only takes a short time and he has them...

I have tried many, many flat balls, from the top of an oleo container when I was 2 months old, to my last two precious Jawz. I am going to be five years old this month and my two Jawz discs have lasted for three of them. I am getting two new ones for my birthday. I am an American White Shepherd, 90 lbs. and I work out with my discs every evening for half an hour before dinner. It only takes me twenty minutes to waste a tennis ball. It's not pretty. My Human solves the dog spit problem by always taking the disc from me with a towel.

5.0 out of 5 stars The One and Only For Certain, July 11, 2006
This review is from: Hyperflite K-10 Jawz Dog Disc (Misc.)
This disc is without a doubt the toughest one we've owned. The Logo wears off but no other damage even with 2 Cattle Dogs ripping, chewing, catching and playing tug-o-war several hours per day! The only reason we have to buy new ones is they bury them somewhere on our property as their prized possessions! Great product, definitely worth the price vs. buying several others that don't last. UPDATE 7/07~ Well, the one Cattle Dog finally managed to puncture a small hole in one or two of his collection, but they still fly great and doesn't affect performance. This is still the ONLY dog frisbee I will buy or reccommend. They are always out of stock in the local pet store so Amazon is a little less in price and always available.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tough, January 29, 2009
This review is from: Hyperflite K-10 Jawz Dog Disc (Misc.)
The Hyperflight Jawz frisbee is really tough. I have a pit bull who is very hard on discs and we are going on 1 month of daily use and, other than the decal coming off, the disk is still in great condition. Flies well also!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great durability & flight properites, but doesn't float, February 16, 2009
This review is from: Hyperflite K-10 Jawz Dog Disc (Misc.)
This is a great Frisbee. They are easy to throw, don't hurt your doggy and are absolutely puncture-resistant. Lola's even survived a couple of rounds of tug-o-war. The only caveat is that it doesn't float. I lost two of those nice Frisbees in the Bay. So if you are looking for a toy that you can use close to the water, rather get the dogobie ones.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Yet, March 8, 2008

(REAL NAME)
I have a Mortgage Company and Real Estate Company. I give away frisbees as gifts to clients. I used a 1/2 of box of them as my dobbie seems to like to catch them and crunch them in her mouth as she bring them back. This usually last 2 or 3 times as they crack in half. the jawz dog frisbee if flexible and will not break. both of my dogs..."brandi the dobbie and bailey the boarder collie" love this new frisbee and we go out every morning. So far not even a tooth hole. VERY IMPRESSIVE.
you won't be sorry. hkosberg@bellsouth.net

5.0 out of 5 stars Tuff Stuff!, February 24, 2008

I'm always sceptical when trying new products. But the reviews for this disc seemed promising. And I must admit that my 70 pound boxer has had plenty of time to destroy this thing and has barely left a scratch. Very impressive. I definitely recommend this product if you are tired of repeat purchase of dog Frizbees.

5.0 out of 5 stars Jawz Disc- Worth the money, June 1, 2009
This review is from: Hyperflite K-10 Jawz Dog Disc (Misc.)
I have purchased several frisbees for my 1 1/2 yr old very ambitious Yellow lab. Typically they have lasted 6 throws at best and she punctures them. We have been playing with the JAwz disc daily for about 3 weeks and she has yet to damage it. The disc flys well, is soft enough that it doesn't hurt her and is the most durable I have come accross! Well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Durable Frisbee Available, September 24, 2009

SuperJ (Chicago, IL) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Hyperflite K-10 Jawz Dog Disc (Misc.)
This is, hands down, the best frisbee I have ever owned. I have two 90 pound Lab mixes, aged one and two, who play with their Jawz disc at least an hour and a half every day. Despite the print wearing off, and a slight warp in the shape due to rough games of tug of war, it's as good as new....8 months later!!!

Before finding this frisbee, most other products met their demise, literally, within ten minutes - not only from bite marks but from playing tug (my older dog is an incredible frisbee catcher but the other just wants to steal it from her once it's retrieved). I was skeptical that this frisbee would be any different but I'm glad I was proved wrong. It gets great flight and it's stood up to one hard mouthed dog and a chewing puppy (I would not leave the frisbee with a pet unattended, however). It's slightly heavier than some frisbees but has a relatively soft feel. It's also flexible enough that I used it during a brutal Chicago winter without it getting brittle and breaking apart. Best of all, my dogs love it. They carry it to the park or while sitting in the car and one will even sleep with it like it's a pillow. The only bad thing is I didn't know about it sooner. It would've saved me a lot of money not having to buy so many other frisbees!

5.0 out of 5 stars THIS ONE WORKS, October 7, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hyperflite K-10 Jawz Dog Disc (Misc.)
I've got a Saint Bernard and we went through quite a few frisbees before we found this one. We've had it for several months now and it DOES NOT look like a cheese grater or have major chunks missing. This is a VERY DURABLE frisbee. My dog is not a voracious chewer but he's got big teeth and a strong jaw and he chewed all the other ones to pieces within a few days but this one really holds up.......... 1/28/10 just wanted to add that it's a year later and I'm getting another one... lasted a long time and couldn't have expected more... he's pretty much destroyed it but it still flies.
