The frozen\smoke texture is just in the back (to prevent air bubbles and keep it clear) - it's probably gonna look weird on a black device.
Perfect cutting and a completely clear frame make it looks amazing compare to other TPU cases I have.
Bought the clear and its a frosted clear on the back but can still see the NEXUS logo.
Did not come with a screen protector as stated in the technical details, which is one of the reasons I bought it.
Does not attract lint and is not sticky when pulling out of your pocket.
Not as good; The fit is acceptable but not perfect. Doesn't quite wrap around the left side perfectly. The clear case had a frosted back which was not mentioned in the description.
The bad; No feel on the power and volume buttons. Hard to find by touch and requires firm press in the right place of the button for it to respond. I worked around this by making tiny cuts with a matte knive around the buttons.
Bottom line; It's OK for the money. I'll still replace this eventually with a higher rated clear case.
Pros: Fitment is ideal, power and buttons require a firm press but I like that, they won't get pressed accidentally. The feel of the case is nice and it looks pretty sharp.
Cons: No screen protector as advertised (which I knew from previous reviews), not as transparent as the pictures show, the clear around the screen aren't very attractive.
I'd recommend it for someone looking for a simple case without much bulk.

The blue color is a much deeper blue than the one in the photo. If you have a white back on your Nexus 5, it may be closer to the photo than my experience. Read morePublished 10 months ago by Quotesick
Would have been a 5 Star if the bezel over the screen area was a little thinner. It's still a nice case though, protects the phone and let the original design of the phone show... Read morePublished 11 months ago by Hoi Ching Hui
Perfect fit, not the most protective case, but as long as you take care of your phone this is good enough!Published 13 months ago by Joshua Manning
Fits perfectly, the buttons were hard to press but I used a dremel on it to cut those out and after that I have been very happy. Read morePublished 18 months ago by A.J. Matheson
If you're buying this case simply for protection, it seems to work just fine. However, the buttons (especially the power button) are pretty hard to press.Published 18 months ago by Catty Hardclaws
