All in all, not a bad docking station. Took a couple weeks to get - came straight from China. Price was cheap. I keep it next to my bed and dock phone while I sleep. I'm going to get another model to have downstairs by my TV chair. I'll see if it slides on and off any easier...
Other things I should point out are that the dock is surprisingly stable considering the way it looks, as others have mentioned. It takes more than a few ounces of force to push the thing over (with the phone in it, of course). Also, it comes with a removable insert. With the insert in place, it's supposed to fit the naked phone, though I haven't really tried it. With the insert removed, a phone with a thin case, such as my Cimo frosted case fits just fine. Finally, I thought I should reiterate that it comes with a cable but no transformer.
While the dock ships with a micro USB cable, it does not include a power adapter (nor does it claim to, but keep that in mind when purchasing). I use it with the power adapter that came with the phone.
Overall a solid buy - I will likely get an additional one for my desk.
it will require buying another wall wart OR using the one that comes with new HTC One in the box.
This unit fits the HTC One (without any add-on skin) snugly... AND it has a REMOVEABLE spacer that will allow use of thin add-on skins that essentially follow the contour of the HTC. It WILL NOT fit the more rugged skins that "square off" the sleek contours of the HTC One (and also detract from its distinctive look IMO).
It is well styled, has a small footprint, and is very stable while holding the phone upright so it can be seen easily while charging. I chose this particular charging base rather than one that had a larger footprint.
Bottom line, SINCE FACING FRONT correctly aligns the phone and charger connectors, it is slightly more convenient slipping the phone into this charging base THAN plugging in the cable every time (which requires always looking & aligning the cable and phone connectors correctly).

Works with no case or slim cases. I have it plugged into my computer but it takes awhile to charge that way, might be my usb cable though. But besides that it works and looks nice.Published 18 months ago by Daniel A. Martinez

Works well with my HTC One. I have used it for months now with no issues. My only problem is that it took about a month to receive the item.Published 23 months ago by Justin Barnby
It took forever to come. It is worth it for the price. No issues. Comes off and inserts without hassle. Got a new case that is too big for it but can't complain.Published 23 months ago by Dominique Menchaca
