This item can only be used for a select few games (like when it comes to most systems and guns). But the impressive thing is it's the year 2006 and this being made in '85-86 (can't remember), it still works like a charm!

It's like a basic gun. No safety stuff (that'd be silly, you can't load it with bullets), you have a trigger and a target/aim at the top of it.

Even playing it now on my bigscreen TV it still works. But of course the ducks are huge - I tried this out on a smaller TV, it works there too. And it's harder. The smaller TV the bigger the challenge, I suppose!

I can't remember what other games use this gun, and I only have Duck Hunt, but I know there are others. Overall, the gun works, so go on out and find that long lost game you played with your Zapper!

THIS IS THE WORST THING I HAVE EVER RECEIVED FROM AN ONLINE SHIPMENT EVER!!! THE DUCK HUNT GAME WILL NOT RESPOND CORRECTSLY TO THE GUN AT ALL WHATSOEVER! YOU JUST CAN NOT SHOOT THE DUCKS. IT DOES NOT WORK. THIS WAS A BAD IDEA TO TRY AND "REMAKE"!!!

The description from the seller as well as the packaging indicate that this product works with the NES, but it doesn't. The end of the gun that plugs into the NES does not fit the NES port. My autistic son went from elation on Christmas day to sadness when he discovered that the gun I had bought him was useless. Spend the extra money and buy the real zapper, not this knockoff.
