This review is from: Hyperstat, Second Edition (Paperback)
This was a required text for my graduate level Psy stats course and was purchased from the publisher with access to the online materials and quizzes. The author does a fairly good job of using simple language and examples to support the topic and yet at times it is so simple that it becomes confusing. Also, some of the computations are incorrect and for some reason the Greek symbol mu does not appear in the print text almost 90% of the time...there's simply a space.
I would only recommend this text if you have another book as a back-up for a more detailed explanation of some of the concepts introduced in the book or if you just want a refresher in Stats.
