Format: Audio CD
(English)
For some reason, this album is labeled erroneously here as an EP: its lenght goes over 64 minutes, including "Face Thief", a complete 32 minute metal opera. Hyperstructure can be considered a progresive metal work, with influences from Dream Theater to Opeth, with some Pantera and Blind Guardian touches, and even Pink Floydish guitars. The master mind behind this project is the mexican Genaro Ochoa, a true virtuoso with knowledge in opera and symphonic instrumentation. If you're interested in a dynamic and unique master piece, this is for you.

(Espanol)

The Arkitecht is an incredible band with very obvious influences from Progressive Metal bands like Dream Theater, Opeth and Symphony X.

This album is a complete blast! The track 'Face Thief' is so rich, full of power and an incredible orchestration that could stand by itself as single-song conceptual album. The other tracks are varied, fast-paced and very interesting pieces as well.

The virtuosic musicianship and tightness of the compositions is at par with the most respected Progressive Metal bands in the world.

Please, I beg you The Arkitecht, release a second album soon!
