I have suffered from headaches, dizziness and shortness of breath for over 20 years. I was eating a lot of sweets and fruit to stop the dizzy spells. After reading Anita's book I was able to track my symptoms directly to my eating habits. I have changed the way I eat and have felt great for months. The few times I eat poorly (i.e. too much sugar) I have a headache within 30 minutes. This book has helped me understand the direct link between the foods I eat and the way I feel. Instead of using sweets to feel better, I make sure I include protein in every meal. Thank you for the information to be able to articulate to friends and family why I now refuse the high sugar treats they offer.

After struggling with Hypoglycemia for 2 years, I found that there was little information available on the subject and every book or article that I read, pointed to a specific diet. After reading Anita's book, I found that listening to my body and reacting to its needs, was exactly what I needed. Hypoglycemina affects people in many different ways and there isn't one diet that works for all.
Anita has certainly done a lot of research on the subject and it was an easy read with lots of useful information.
I would highly recommend it to anyone suffering from Hypoglycemia.
I also enjoy Anita's weekly Hypo tips via email.

This book makes sense of the causes and symptoms of hypoglycemia. Throughout the book Anita shows how fluctuating blood sugars can be controlled to improve health and well-being beyond one's hope. Thank you Anita.
