Good but Needs Improvement,

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Hyskore® DLX Precision Shooting Rest (Misc.)
I bought this rest for our shooting group. Purpose: eliminate human error; Sight in rifles; and Determine which rifle and ammo combinations would be best for extreme long range shooting. Our biggest complaint: The trigger mechanism does not adapt to rifles at all. That part of the item is junk. However, the rest performs reasonably well and we were able to achieve amazing accuracy by eliminating most human movement to a great degree. Suggestions: Change Trigger Attachment and build the rest out of slightly thicker sheet metal. We're still glad we bought it.

this is must have for all hunter's or target shooter's that wants there optic's dead on . the instruction video was broke when packing arrived but it was so easy to put together that any body with a little common sense could put it together . I read other reviews on this product before I purchased it and they said the remote trigger wouldnt mount to the gun but i had no problem with mounting of the remote trigger.the trigger guard mounts between the two extra rubber peices.it's a simple and easy to use product.

This review is from: Hyskore® DLX Precision Shooting Rest (Misc.)
I bought this rest thinking that the rifle returns to the same position after each shot so sighting in the rifle would be soooo simple; just fire a shot then turn the scope till the hairs cross at the hole in the target. Then fire a few more to make one raggedy hole in the target at the right place. Right ? Oh so WRONG !!
Holes all over the place looked like a shotgun at 25 yards. The screws are full of backlash, the rest does not return to same position each time and it is all a bit fragile so all in all it just wasn't what I had been led to believe it was. It does not return to the same place after each shot like a ransom rest would for a pistol. As for the trigger accessory - well the other reviews have covered this - it just doesn't work. Now all that said - if you re-sight each shot (very time consuming) back on the point of aim and very carefully pinch the trigger guard and trigger you can get good repeatability. But you can get that with sandbags or bench rest rests which are easier to use and cost a whole lot less. Do I use it - yes cause I have bought it. Would I send it back if I could get my money back - hell YES Would I recommend it to anybody - no way !
