This review is from: Hysteria Hospital (Video Game)
In Hysteria Hospital:Emergency Ward you are a nurse trying to balance the duties of getting patients to the right treatment, getting their charts to them, and possibly medications...
You start out at a basic hospital with only a few treatments available and your mission is to build up the hospitals ratings and buy new treatments so they can treat more people. Once you get through all the demands of one hospital you move on to the next. As you go, the hospitals gain more treatments, become more challanging with multi-levels added on, and have more patients to treat within an alloted amount of time. This game is simple and repetitive, but it is a lot of fun and with it's budget cost i think it's worth the money i spent for it...

A horrible rip off of Theme Hospital,

This game is obviously a take on Theme Hospital for the PC, which is, in fact, the reason why I wanted to play it having loved Theme Hospital so. But, the game is no where as sophisticated; its novelty runs out quickly and it is only left being redundent and boring. Don't buy this game unless it's offered for dirt cheap; we're talking like $[...], and that's only if you ABSOLUTELY must try it out...otherwise keep looking for other games.

I hope to go to nursing school next year, so I decided to give this game a try. After playing this Wii game for twenty minutes, I was annoyed because it's a little hard to click and drag the patients with the Wii remote, and my hand was starting to hurt. It occurred to me that this game would work a lot better as a PC game, because clicking and dragging with a mouse is a whole lot easier. So I looked to see if there was anything similar available in a computer game, and there is... it's called Hospital Hustle, and it is EXACTLY the same as the Hospital Hysteria Wii game. I downloaded it to my Macbook for $6.99 from Big Fish Games and have been happily playing it for a week. It is a fun simulation of hospital operations... patients come in, you put them in the triage area and pick up their charts, and from there they either go to a treatment area or cat scan/ultrasound/x-ray, and then they might go to a bed and need medicine. When they're released you have to clean up the bed and dispose of the laundry. It's hard to manage 3, 4, or 5 patients at once, especially because the nurse can only carry two things at a time (charts, medicine, laundry, etc.) What's fun is when you can grab "coffee" which is kind of like a power-up that makes the nurse move really fast. You also have the opportunity to buy more beds, x-ray machines, plants, TV's or whatever will make your hospital run better and the patients happier while they wait. It gets complicated when the machines break down and you have to fix them before the patients can use them, and also you have to run between two floors. Have fun!
