The HY3100 is a gasoline open generator that comes with a full frame for better protection. It has a recoil starting method and provides a Max. Output of 6.5 HP. Once turned on, the continuous Output is 2,800 watts and max output of 3,000 watts. Key features for the HY3100 include an AVR alternator which provides smooth voltage and an oil alert system with automatic engine shut-off. All products meet EPA requirements. I ordered this HY3100 Hyundai Portable Generator 03-19-2008 with free shipping and wow I got it in RECORD speed, it arrived 03-24-2008. It was packed great, UPS delivered it. I opened the box, read the operating manual cover to cover, added Oil & Gas and it started on the first pull !!! I purchased it to be used when we dry camp with our 5th Wheel Trailer. I plugged in the RV plug and powered on the 13,500 BTU AC and it worked just fine. THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!
