These two albums display a vocal range unmatched in pop/rock music. While the song selection is eclectic, from the show tune 'If I Loved You' through the pop orientated 'Mission Bells' and "My Prayer' to the soul screeching of 'Lonely Teardrops', the arrangements and accompaniment are first class. Proby was a one take specialist, but also a singer who always had subtle variance on each song. While other male solo singers lost their way during the Beatle lead group domination of the charts, Proby let his powerful vocals soar across some brilliant orchestral arrangements.

He've been one of the best in the early sixties,singing basic rock & roll to L.bernstein through standard american songs, even the sound still great as the productions and arrangements.
A great singer, like there is no more today...........

this album, is excellent, amongst my favourites are"I will", "Lonely weekends", "She cried", and "Mission Bell", He is a very talented singer

this album is excellent, especially Rockin' pneumonia, one of my favourites is Louisiana Man, this singer can turn his singing talent to any style. He was one of my all time favourites and I have all original recordings
