Gloria Gaynor got her start as a vocalist for a jazz-pop band, Soul Satisfiers in the mid 60s. However it was her music in the 70s and 80s that she would be remembered for. I think GLoria is a very talented woman, but I must admit I bought this for one song. "I Am What I Am" I heard this at a public event and loved it.

Took me forever to figure out who recorded it, but when I did, I saught it out and bought it!

She has a beautiful voice and most of the songs are discoesque, but generally okay. The song I wanted is brilliant. Loved her version of La Caux Au Follies standard. I think you'll enjoy this if you like Disco music.

The main song is ok but it was unknown to me that this album was a remix. That is unfortunate because it was a gift. Oh well, live and learn.
