Keith, Greg and Carl recorded several versions of "I Believe in Father Christmas" - they are available as a EP CD and I recommend that CD strongly. Sarah's version is as strong as any of them. I can hear the complaints now. Bombastic? Yes. Fans of Prokofiev may yet again wince at the use of his "Troika" from the Lieutenant Kije Suite. Opera purists may wince at Sarah's mix of classical and pop. Fine. But this is FUN. She is in perfect voice, her arranger keeps the song in ELP's vein but overlays it with voices and orchestration to make it hers. Fans of ELP - BUY THIS. Fans of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra - BUY THIS. Paul O'Neill may even be kicking himself for not doing this first. Fans of Mannheim Steamroller - a bit more powerful than Chip's work, but you'll love it. BUY THIS. And enjoy! ; )
