I Believe in Me actually deserves a 10 star rating! The combination of simple, universal affirmations and colorful, friendly illustrations create a very positive, easy to read and spiritually uplifting book. I just bought a copy of this book for every niece and nephew in my family and had Amazon.com ship them throughout the country. Anyone looking for a beautifully simple, creative and inspiring children's book, do your child (and yourself) a favor and get this one. You'll want to read it over and over again. Thank you Connie for positively touching the lives of so many!

This book is superbly uplifting through the happy, imaginative drawings, and the absolute uplifting affirmations. The drawings are captivating to young eyes and hearts, and the affirmations are simple, happy, creative. This is a gift that will more than entertain the child you love. It will guide that growing being into self-confidence and into love for life and all in it. By the way, this book isn't too shabby for an adult's inner child!

Or indeed in yourself. The simple, yet profound, affirmations are accompanied by gorgeous, colourful images of the soul undertaking positive activities - my son's favourite is the image of the spirit skipping down a waterfall to the affirmation "I am free to be me", while my own favourite is the soul resting in a circle of protection, supported by two angels (my son used to think they were mummy & daddy) accompanied by the text "I am safe". A lovely book that has stood the test of time over several years in our family.

I bought this for our 2 yr. old daughter and it has become a family favorite! She loves repeating the affirmations and looking at the pictures. The artwork is really nice and gives us a segway to other topics. My husband and I noticed immediately how good WE felt after reading it to her. Thus it is one of our favorite books to share. Playdates have commented and enjoyed the book as well as our spiritual community. It's recommended for young children, but honestly I think everyone would get something positive from it. Even older kids that are new to affirmations, meditation and the like can't help but feel better after reading this book. It is a must have for any library!

Simple text explaining to a child the many ways she is special. Looks at the emotional, physical and spiritual part of each person.

I Believe in Me is a beautiful book that opens the heart of the reader. The joy expressed in Connie's art is universally appealing to children and adults, no matter the particular spiritual path. The simple format lends itself to countless uses, and I use mine at home with my children, in my Sunday School, and for my personal inspiration.

The simplicity of this book is what makes it powerful. There is one statement per page with a beautiful illustration. I especially liked my child confirming: "I enjoy new experiences" and "I am whole and perfect just the way I am." I have always been a fan of introducing children and adults to affirmations. I Believe in Me makes it easy. I have also recently added two other terrific books to my child's library. Louis Hay's (I think I am) and Lori Lite's book (Affirmation Weaver). All are wonderful additions to my library of books that are making a positive impact on me and my family.

I bought this book for my grandchildren, who love it. I think it's important for little ones to hear over and over and over that they are wonderful, powerful, loved. What a terrific book!

An absolutely essential book to have in the bookshelf that will be used throughout life's entirety. The illustrations are magical and the affirmations are inspiring and uplifting. What a wonderful book to affirm a young child to believe in themselves and love themselves just the way they are. Magnificent!

I am a school counselor and depend on this book A LOT. It is beautiful. It really helps kids with positive self talk. If you are a parent or counselor, get this book to help your child with self-esteem and positive thinking.
